“Where are we going again?” Liam interrupts Kira’s ramble about pepperoni pizza. I can hear the tension in his voice as the effects of the rising full moon is getting to him.
“It’s Lydia Martin’s lake house. Actually, it’s her grandmother’s lake house,” Kira explains, “But she’s dead, so it’s okay. I mean, it’s not okay that she’s dead. Unless she was in pain.” Kira bites her lip to stop talking while gripping the steering wheel with a tight grip.
“Can you turn the music down?” I glance at Liam from the corner of my eye as he groans in pain lightly, wincing at the barely audible music.
“You want me to turn the music up?” She questions nervously, slowly turning the dial of the music as she sends me a nervous look in the rearview mirror which Liam misses as he’s busy on his phone.
“Who’d you say was coming to this party?” Liam questions without looking away from his bright phone screen. Kira looks at me for help with wide eyes at his question.
“It’s one of Lydia Martin’s parties, there’s gonna be more than a few people,” I lie.
“Well, how many is more than a few?” Liam retorts.
“Um…everyone,” Kira quickly tells him, before increasing the music slightly to stop any more questions. We arrive at the lake house a couple minutes later and quickly get out of the car.
“Where is everyone?” Liam asks suspiciously as he glances around, only spotting the jeep and Scott’s motorbike.
“They’re here. It’s a small party,” Kira excuses quickly as she ushers us towards the front door.
“You said everyone was coming,” Liam spots her lie, glancing at me as he speaks.
“Yeah, but we’re a bit early to help Lydia setup,” I tell him, guilt boiling in my stomach at the lie.
“Yay, party!” Kira grabs Liam’s arm and pulls him the rest of the steps to the door, quickly pushing him inside while I follow behind them, quietly shutting the door.
“What the hell is this?” Liam growls as he’s confronted by the pack standing in front of him. His eyes dart over to me, causing me to quickly divert my gaze.
“Think of it like an intervention,” Stiles speaks up, “you have a problem, Liam.”
“And we’re the only ones that can help,” Scott adds.

“Werewolf? Werecoyote. Banshee. Fox?” Liam goes through the pack after we give him the basic run down.
“Kitsune, but fox works,” Kira shrugs. Liam turns his hard gaze to me while I deflect my gaze.
“And you see stuff?” He questions disbelievingly.
“Uh, sometimes. It’s not really working right now.” I haven’t had a vision of the future since the night Aiden died.
“What are you?” Liam questions as he turns his gaze to Stiles. The boy crosses his arms.
“Uh, for a while I was possessed by an evil spirit. Very evil,” he explains.
“What are you now?” Liam interrogates. Stiles glances at the pack for a moment.
