{Chapter 1} Fire at Thornhill

Cheryl Blossom was in her bedroom sleeping when she smelled smoke and heard faint screams coming from her brother's room. She groggily got out of bed not realizing the reality of her situation until she heard the alarm. She jumped out of her bed and went to open the door but the blossom family alarm system kept her from doing that so she had no choice but to jump out the window

CHERYL'S POV
I was dreaming when it started to get foggy pulling me back into the real world.I shot up and I heard my brother screaming so I tried to open the door only to be locked out by our family alarms.
"Come on , come on , come on". "WHY ISN'T THIS WORKING!!?". "Cheryl?" I heard a voice that I knew so well sound so dead. "JJ!? hold on I'm going through the window". "Leave me here save Rorrie" "I-I'm so cold ,I see someone he looks so warm a-and cozy like papa".

After hearing that I immediately started to breakdown but I knew it wasn't the time for that. I made sure the curtain was tight and opened my window and took it a deep breath "you can do this,just jump and go to the front get Aurora and Jason and my parents , obviously" "WHY AM I STILL HERE JUMP CHERYL JUMP" I thought

I jumped down only stopping halfway because the curtain got stuck on something. "That's not how I pictured this will happen" Before I knew it I fell down landing on my hand "Hss, AHHHH" "Someone help please HELP HELPPPP.help" I whispered the last part knowing no one was going to hear me. I watched the fire consume Jason's room I couldn't help but bawl my eyes out "Jj I'm so so sorry I failed you" I felt my eyes screwing shut I accepted it I was going to die but then my eyes
diverted somewhere else Aurora's room . I quickly limped up and ran to the arsenal .

I grabbed my bow and arrow and drawed my bow back hitting the fuse box causing the blossom family alarms to shut down unlocking the metal doors. I ran inside only to be met with a lot of smoke I squinted my eyes because I couldn't see anything without my glasses and that's when I heard her voice sounded like it was coming from the balcony "HELP HELPPPP MEE CHER!?JASON!?ANYONE!?" I ran to the balcony as fast I could letting smoke get into my lungs triggering my asthma "RORRIE!?" "Cher please help it's all around me" "I- I need you to jump to me" I watched as she shook her head "Rorrie please there's no time" I begged and scoffed as she still shook her head in pure fear "AURORA,PLEASE NO ONE IS COMIMG TO SAVE US JJ,MUSMY THEY'RE ALL GONE DO YOU WANT TO BE ADDDED TO THE LIST OF CASUALTIES NOW JUMP"

AURORA POV
I felt tears graze down my cheeks leaving my shirt damp I looked around what used to be home I realized Cher was right no one was coming. I saw the fire spreading quick I glanced at Cheryl with a feared look she looked so exhausted.

I jumped as hard as I can spraining my ankle in the process " AHHH CHERYL IT HURTS" I screamed out in agony. "I know Rorrie I know uhm here climb on my back" I did what I was told looking back at my charred room "We got this Ror I won't fail you too" "You didn't fail me or JJ They did , now how are we getting out of here

NO ONES POV
Cheryl watches as the cops bagged her brother's corpse when Sheriff Keller walks up to her. "Ms.Blossom uhm I'm truly sorry for your loss" "You know you really don't sound sorry" Cheryl whispered squinting her eyes even though she knows who it is by their voice " I am I'm truly sorry but I still need to uncover what happened, my men said that none of the appliances were on, there was no faulty wiring, and no candle seemed to be found charred meaning it hasn't been lighted in a while. Do you find this unusual at all Ms.Blossom?"

"Are you SERIOUS!? I just lost my parents, my home, everything that made me and you have the audacity to even ask me that question" Cheryl fumed "Again Ms.Bl" "It's Cheryl and how about you do your job right for once and tell your men TO STOP BAGGING MY BROTHER UP LIKE HE'S A FISH IN SWEETWATER RIVER!!!" "Omg I'm sorry I'm so sorry I didn't mean it you were just doing your job" "It's ok Ms.Bl- Cheryl you're right but you didn't lose everyone you still have your sister"
