Today is Valentine's Day and let's just say I hate it. Every year at my old school someone would stuff my locker with heart cupcakes and a sign that pops out and says "No one will put whip cream on that Cherry".
But today's just another normal day for me. After my shower I made my way to the kitchen for breakfast. "Hey dearie, what do I always say?" She said looking at me with pure understanding. "Turn that frown upside down" I say grabbing a waffle and putting on the fakest smile ever.
I made my way to pop to spend a casual day reading and relaxing when the high school demon came up to me. "W-What are you doing here Veronica"
I put my head down trying to ignore whatever was about to come out her mouth. "I just wanted to tell you to look at what Toni got me for Valentines" I shot my head up only two words managing to get stuck in my head. Toni...Valentines?

"VERONICA!?" Betty said with wide eyes. "Calm down Betty, I guess I just thought that what me and Toni have...had was real." I said plopping down on the bed.
"Look if I need to give my crackhead best friend a knuckle sandwich to her head let me know"
"It's fine I guess I just thought there was something special there" I said looking at the posts people posted for Valentines.
"Ok well I have to go Mom said there's a weird homeless guy claiming to know me, weird right?"
Toni's POV
I just had got done with getting Cheryl gifts for Valentines when Veronica walked up to me "Hey Tonikins, Omg is that all for me?" She said running her hand up and down on my shoulder.
"No it's not" I walked past her causally grazing her shoulder. "It's shame Cheryl thinks that" She said but before I could ask her what she meant she was already gone.
I felt a ping in my back pocket. I took my phone out to see what was going on.

I tried calling Cheryl to explain how Veronica set all of this up but when she didn't answer I decided to pay a trip to Thistlehouse.
I knocked on the door of Thistlehouse and waited patiently for Cheryl to answer.
I was about to knock again when I heard someone shout. "I'll get it!"
"T-Toni?"
" Look Cheryl I know I'm probably the last person you want me I see right now. I just really needed to explain the whole Veronica situation"
"It's fine you don't have to" She said pushing up her glasses.
"Just let me finish, Cheryl since the day you walked in the classroom with your head buried in a book. I just knew that I would want to protect you no matter what. Sorry I'm a little nervous I had this whole speech in my head." I said fidgeting with my jacket
"It's ok take your time" Cheryl said with an understanding smile one that I could get lost in.
"Look what I'm trying to say is Veronica's had this obsession with me ever since she found out I have abs over the summer. She made that ridiculous post but the truth is I spent my whole day buying gifts for you. So I guess what I'm trying to say is Cheryl Unknown Blossom will you be mine?"
"YES!" She said jumping onto me and wrapping her hands around my neck. "I could get used to this"
I carefully placed her back down Maintaining eye contact. I slowly took off her glasses and tucked a strand of hair around her ear. I leaned in taking her hand in mine and kissed her passionately. I swear I could just kiss her forever.
Just then we were interrupted by what looks like an angry child.
"Is this the girl that hurt your feelings!?" A tiny redhead said who I'm assuming is her sister.
"Look-"
"Listen hire missy there's two things I'm good at. Listening to Taylor swift songs and kicking butt and I'm all out of her cd's."
The little girl tried to swing at me but failed since Cheryl was holding her down.
"Look Toni she's not going to calm down for a while so I suggest you start heading home I'll FaceTime you goodnight"

I'm Back!!!!Chonis finally together but beware there might be some bumps I'll warn you here and there but let's just say you might hate me. And also there might be some musical numbers because why not anything's possible in Riverdale. 🍒
