𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐬𝐰𝐚𝐩 𝐀𝐔

Japan ran home that day. Tears flowing down her check as she did her best to wipe them, but they keep pouring.

Almost breaking the door down, she carried herself to the bathroom. Not bothering to close it, as she lived alone. Countries didn't need to pay bills after all.

Flopping onto the floor, she wiped her tears and let out her usual insane sounding laughter. 

"Gosh, I am 哀れな (pathetic), aren't I?" She cried laughing more.

Why was she crying? It all started that day at school.

She was annoying her best friend, and secret crush, Australia, who was just one his piano. When that stupid South Korea came along being all annoying. Calling her names, all that. 

Of course Australia didn't care. He just told us to be quiet. 

To think she considered him a friend?

The thing was, she was obsessed with 'recreating her history' and all that. Any and almost all friends she had she was only nice to them so she could surprise attack them! But she grew overly attached to the one who hated everyone and anything, Australia.

Japan didn't understand. Why did he just let SK pick on her? Call her;

"𝙎𝙩𝙪𝙥𝙞𝙙 𝙬𝙖𝙧 𝙘𝙧𝙞𝙢𝙞𝙖𝙡!"

"𝘾𝙖𝙣𝙣𝙞𝙗𝙖𝙡!"

"𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝙗𝙤𝙢𝙗!"

And other stupid, 𝙨𝙩𝙪𝙥𝙞𝙙 things!

She reached for a match on the cupboard. She deserved it.

She lit the match and brought it to her arm. It stung, it felt like a million hot needles sticking into her skin. 

She brought the match across her arm, a sick sadistic smile formed on her lips.

As she went to the other arm, Japan heard....the door open?

Meanwhile, Australia had been walking home with his brother. When he got a bad feeling. About Japan, Was she..ok? 

Its not like he cared, Psh, why would he?

But he just, couldn't let it go.

"Hey, Rica?"

America looked behind him and smiled. "Yes?" 

I left something at school, I'll be right back." Without thinking, he began his way towards Japan's home. Leaving a confused America to finish the journey home.

Japan listened as the footsteps seemed to come near her bathroom. She wanted to hide the evidence, move, or anything! But she didn't have the strength. 

Then, the one she loved opened the door. and looked at her. 

She expected him to scoff, turn away, make a disgusted face, But he...didn't?

HE stood there, looking shocked, after a couple of seconds of standing there, he shouted;

"WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT?! YOU IDIOT!"

He ran over to her and hugged her tight. Japan was just in shock at this point. Why wasn't he angry? I mean, he shouted, but his tone of voice suggested worry over rage. He let go, taking her arm, inspecting it slowly. 

"....why?"

She didn't respond. Japan turned the tables.

"Why do you care?"

Australia looked at her, then back at her arm. 

"I don't know, but I want to help....I feel bad for being an asshole."

Japan giggled. "Are you gonna say sorry?"

Australia looked away. "sorry..."

Japan laughed some more, before ingulfing him into a hug, that both of them needed.
