After the party ended, Hyuna immediately went to his father's study room as soon as she sent off Jessica and Chan. She desperately wanted to ask her father the reason for the sudden marriage announcement that should not happen in the first place since they made a bet few months ago. Luckily, her father was there, busy with his work again and again.
"Papa, why are you still working at this late hour?" asked Hyuna.
She took a seat at the couch in the room. When she was a kid, she used to play and sleep on it whenever she was waiting for her father to finish his work.
"I'm waiting for you. Looking at your face, you are not only worry about my health but also about the marriage I announced at the party just now," said Mr Lee.
His hands still busy rearranged the important documents into different files for easy reference.
Hyuna fell silent for awhile before sighing.
"Then, what's the reason behind it? I know you would not marry me off just because their family has good background and reputation. You are not that kind of father to sell your only daughter for business purpose," said Hyuna directly.
"No other reason. You knew it well already so there's no need for me to tell you further,"
Hyuna was caught off guard by her father's words. She hoped that it was not the reason like any drama that she used to watch a lot. But today, her father proved her wrong. The chaebol family like them could not run away from the arranged marriage regardless they already have someone they loved. Like her parents few years back.
"I thought you would be different, pa. But it was not the case. You're just like other fathers who sold their own daughter for their own benefit," Hyuna went out of the room while wiping off her tears.
Mr Lee wanted to comfort her when he saw her tears but he held back. It broke his heart to see his daughter in that state but he has no choice.
"I'm sorry, Lina. I could not protect our daughter and you. He is the only hope for me,"
"I'm sorry, my princess," trembled Mr Lee in tears.

Hyuna looked out of the car window boredly. Her mood was twisted since she woke up and here she was, ended up in the same car as her future husband while on their way to buy rings for their wedding.
"What's with the long face?"
"Don't talk to me!" replied Hyuna.
"Like you said, I also don't have a choice,"
"But still, you can protest it first. Why did you just blatantly agree when they ask about it?!" mad Hyuna.
"We didn't lose anything from this marriage anyway. You got your family company business as your father promised before and I got to run away from that obsessive cousin of mine,"
"Fair and square," added Mingyu.
"But I lose my freedom!" whined Hyuna.
"I'm not going to restrict you. You can do anything you want like you used to. The different is only on the title," assured Mingyu.
"You better keep your words today," pouted Hyuna.
After that, both of them just fell silent throughout their way to the ring shop.
As soon as they were there, Mingyu could not believe his eyes. Was she the same girl that he talked with in the car few minutes ago?
The moment they stepped into the shop, Hyuna happily tried all kind of rings that she liked. And most of them were the most expensive one in the store which he did not mind actually.
"This woman is really something," mumbled him.
"Can I try this one too?"
The girl worker took out the ring she pointed out and put it on the counter.
"It's pretty..."
"Who are you? Jang Man Wol? What's with the sudden change of attitude?" asked Mingyu.
"Although I was forcefully married to you, I'm still gonna wearing this ring for the time being. So I must make sure that I wear the best one," said her without looking at Mingyu.
Mingyu sighed. It was like her personality changed every second. Maybe he should start to get used to it especially after marrying her as it was not easy for him to read her.
"How is it?" asked Hyuna while showing the ring on her finger.
There was a small diamond on it but has smooth cut.
"It looks good on you," responsed Mingyu.
"Okay, I will take this then. Oh! And I also want this!"
Mingyu looked at her weirdly.
"How many rings you want to buy? We only need one for the wedding," said Mingyu.
"It's for you, idiot! Unless you want to get married alone,"
"Nice nickname for your future husband, Mrs Kim," said Mingyu sarcastically.
Hyuna rolled her eyes. She nudged his arm with her elbow.
"Try that,"
Mingyu has no choice but to try on the ring she has chose for him.
"How's it?" asked her.
"It looks fine for me,"
"Okay, we will take those rings,"
The worker proceed to pack the rings and Mingyu went to pay for it. After paying, they went straight to the car.
"Next, we will do the dress fitting for wedding- "
"Let's eat first," whined Hyuna.
"We can eat after the fitting," replied Mingyu.
"I don't want to...don't you know woman take a lot of time to do fitting?" complained her.
Mingyu sighed. He could not bring himself to refuse her offer when she kept whining like that.
"Fine, fine,"
He drove the car to the nearest restaurant from the wedding boutique.
The moment they entered the restaurant, he could not keep his lips from smiling widely.
The sight of Hyuna hopping in tiny with big smile in her face at the smell of the food made his heart fluttered for some reason.
Hyuna who was happy at the thought of eating did not notice that she pulled Mingyu's hand to the table beside the window.
Mingyu just followed her without complaining as if he has been spelled.
"Order, sir, madam?"
Both of them ended up choosing the same meal but with different beverages as well as ice cream as a dessert.
"Have you eating here before?" asked Mingyu.
"Once, with Chan," replied Hyuna.
Her eyes were too focused on anything that happened outside the restaurant through the window to realize the frown expression of Mingyu at the name of the other guy came out from her mouth.
"Chan? Is he your boyfriend?" asked Mingyu in tiny.
"Yes, my boy friend since high school," said her.
Mingyu could not hide his expression anymore. It must be the same guy who he saw with her at the mall the other time.
"Ohh..."
'What do you expect, Kim Mingyu? This is just arranged marriage. She will never like you'
After finished eating, they went straight to the wedding boutique. Mingyu's mother and sister has prepared few designs for them to choose and they also already measure them to fit with their body cut.
The moment they entered the wedding boutique, they were greeted by the familiar figure.
"Hyuna!"
"Chan!"
