After almost a month preparation from both side, the marriage was ready to be conducted. Fortunately, Hyuna's sprained leg was recovered few days ago. It would be hard for her to walk down the isle with the sprained leg.
Now, Hyuna was in one of the hotel room that his father had reserved as a waiting room for her to dress up. Jessica and her soon-to-be sister in law were also there to help with her dress and make up.
Hyuna refused for other people to to do her make up as Jessica was good in it and knew her style better than anyone else.
"For some reason, my skill works well on you today," said Jessica while putting down the make up brush before taking the lip tint.
"Hyuna unnie already look good even without her make up anyway," praised Minseo.
"Maybe it is because of the wedding," teased Jessica.
Hyuna rolled her eyes. She has been getting teased by Jessica since she woke up today.
"Where's your brother, Minseo?" asked Jessica while focusing herself on putting the right colour tone of lip tint on Hyuna's lips.
"In the next room,"
"Oh, so he is in your newlywed's room?" asked Jessica to Hyuna.
"I guess so. What I know, papa just booked two rooms for us," replied Hyuna while looking at the final look of her at the mirror.
"You are great, Jess. I look...different today," said Hyuna.
"Yes, differently beautiful than usual," added Jessica.
"Okay, now for the dress!!" said Minseo in excitement while holding the wedding dress in her hand.
"Let's go!!" she gave Hyuna the dress and pulled her to the bathroom to change.
Hyuna unconsciously smiled at her action. Minseo was more excited with this marriage than she did. However, it was not fully a fake smile that she gave to them today. She felt like it was the right time for her to get married but she was not really sure if he was the right one for her.
After she got out of the bathroom, both Jessica and Minseo helped her with the final touch of her appearance.
"You look ethereal, Hyuna," said Jessica after giving her the bouquet of flower that she would bring while walking down the isle later.
It was actually her favourite flower, Tulips. Not sure how did Mingyu knew about it, maybe through her father as Jessica and Chan did not know about it at all.
The knocking sound surprised the three of them. Later, Mrs Kim entered the room with a big smile.
"You look beautiful, my daughter," said Mrs Kim.
"Mommy..." she giggled when her real daughter whined at her remarks.
"Do you happy that Hyuna finally become your sister, Minseo?" asked Mrs Kim.
"Yes!! I like Hyuna unnie very much," said Minseo while hugging Hyuna's free arm.
"Let's go down together. The ceremony will start shortly," said Mrs Kim.
Both her and Minseo left the room and walked ahead of them.
"Soon, you will be Mingyu's wife. Trust me and Chan's judgement, he is the one for you," assured Jessica.
Her last words kept ringing in her head until she stood in front of her father outside the wedding hall.
"My princess..." said Mr Lee.
"Papa..." Hyuna smiled while taking his father's hand.
"I'm sorry for marrying you off like this. I just want the best for you," said Mr Lee softly.
Hyuna could hear his father's broken voice like he almost cried by his own words. She thought maybe it was because he was happy with her marriage or maybe he felt guilty of forcing this marriage on her. However, she did not have any clue that his father was actually hiding something big from her.
As the door of the wedding hall opened, Mingyu turned around to look at Hyuna, his future wife. He was stunned while looking at her. She looked like an angel with that long white dress and natural make up on her face.
He did not notice that both father and daughter were in front of him already as he was too stunned by her ethereal appearance.
"Ehem!" coughed Mr Lee.
Mingyu snapped back into reality and saw Hyuna was already standing in front of him. She looked at him with that big doe-like eyes of her which made him fell for her again and again.
He extended his hand for Hyuna to take. She then released her hand from her father and took Mingyu's hand. They then walked together and stood in front of the marriage officiant facing each other.
"We will start the ceremony now,"
"Do you, Kim Mingyu, take Lee Hyuna as your bride, to have and to hold her from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish her, until parted by death?"
"I do,"
"Do you, Lee Hyuna, take Kim Mingyu as your husband, to have and to hold him from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish him, until parted by death?"
"I do,"
"Groom and bride may exchange their rings,"
Mingyu took out the ring from the case that was holding by his best man, Wonwoo. He slowly put the ring on her finger. Hyuna also did the same after that.
"Now, I pronounce both of you as husband and wife. The groom may now kiss the bride,"
