Two days ago, Zayn sent me that message,

BradfordBadBoi: I'm not going to give up that easily, Niall. I'm going to prove that my love for you is real and for who you really are. You'll see.

What does he mean by that? I'm a little scared of what he's going to do, and I haven't seen him for these past two days either. I just want a normal life, without any drama. Is it too much to ask for? I walked into the cafeteria. Liam was sitting with his friends chatting up a storm. I put my tray down next to him, and he looks at me. "Oh, hey Niall. How's it going?" he said, and turned back to his friends. I was never really close to his friends, so everytime I sat here, I would just be minding my own business eating. I didn't bother responding to him; it's not like he was listening right now anyways.

I wasn't so hungry right now, so I boredly played with my food. I stared blankly through the window at the cloudy white sky. I hated when the sky was like this, it always made me feel gloomy and depressed. Just then, a person stepped in front of me blocking my view. My head tilted upward and saw a guy standing there.

"Hi, can I sit here?" he asked. I didn't really care at all, so I just nodded at him and let him take a seat. I just wasn't in the mood talk or do anything. All I could do was think right now.

"So, what's your name?" he asked me. I snapped out of my thoughts when he spoke. Even though I didn't want to say anything back, I knew it would be awkward for him if I didn't. "I'm Niall." I tried to smile. "Cool, I'm Justin. Nice to meet you." he said and took a bite out of his apple. Justin was brunette and had brown eyes. A few seconds later he came up with a rude question. "Why do you have a scar?" he asked me. Is he for real? I don't even know him and he's asking this. I sighed, and told him a lie. "I fell." I said plainly.

"Oh." he said, and continued to eat his apple. I stared at him, "Who are you?" I asked him. He looked at me confused. "I'm Justin." he said. Well obviously. "Uhm. I mean. Why are you here?" I asked. "Uhh, am I not allowed to?" he asked. "I could move if you don't want me here." he said about to get up. "No, it's fine. You could stay here." I said. Wow, I didn't mean to come out rude to him; I just didn't think he would like sitting next to me.

I put my head down and closed my eyes. A few moments later, the bell rang, and it was time for me to go to English. "Well, see ya Niall." Justin said, waving to me. I nodded at him, and walked to my next class. I didn't pay attention at all. Zayn was the only thing that was on my mind right now, but he wasn't in class today; I wonder where he went?

The rest of the period went by slowly. I never pay attention in this class; everything was so easy, I didn't bother anymore.

** Friday **

I went to school again as usual. Today was finally Friday, and the last day of the week. I saw Justin stand by my locker. "Hey Niall." he said, and I looked at him. "What are you doing here?" I asked. "Well, uhh. I wanted to talk to you." he said. Okay, ever since he sat with me in lunch, he's been talking to me a lot lately. I didn't mind it, that much; it was always nice to have a new friend. "About what?" I asked, throwing my jacket into my locker. "Well, you know there's this Talent Show coming up?" he said. I nodded, and he continued. "Well, I auditioned for it, and got in!" he said excitedly. What does this have to do with me? "And, I was wondering... if you could come see me?" he added.

I didn't really want to go. Talent shows are boring and I always fell asleep through them. "I don't know." I said, closing my locker door. "Please, Niall. I really want you to come." he pleaded. I sighed, and was about to say no, but he put on puppy eyes and I just couldn't. "Ugh, fine. What are you even going to perform?" I asked. "Yes! I'm going to be singing." he said happily. "Oh okay.." I said. "Well, then I'll see you later then." he said and walked away almost skipping. I shook my head.
