pronouced lee-lah (lila)

;;;

it's pouring with rain outside but luckily lila brought her umbrella prepared for the day, she gets off her morning commute and walks along the street to her company's office, humbly avoiding people in the rain trying to get to their destination.

she swipes her card to sign in and makes a run for the elevator, stuffing inside with all the other people to her floor. she steps out into the bustling office, making a pit stop to put her stuff down and make her way to the kitchenette to make herself coffee.

she plays with her tongue ring as she pours in the water to mix with instant coffee, other colleagues come in and out but she doesn't pay much attention.

she heads back to her desk firing up her computer when she spots him looming, seokjin's impossibly spectacular hair bobbing towards her. she plays it cool putting her coffee down to get ready for onslaught of information she didn't really care about from semi bitchy work friends.

"morning lila just got in?" seokjin says lounging an arm over lila's cubicle. his impossibly wide shoulders take up all the space, yet his shirt still manages to drape chicly over his chest.

"what do you want seokjin, it's too early to know about who's hooking up on the third floor." lila says tapping away at her computer, she tucks her straight hair behind one ear, revealing piercings.

"can't i just come over to say hello?"

"there's no such thing with you, you want something so spit it out." seokjin makes a face but then inevitably sighs.

"okay, so i might have scored you a date for tonight." this is the first time lila looks away from her screen to seokjin.

"what?"

"he's a friend of mine, he's real cute."

"i don't need you meddling in my love life thank you." lila continues working on her computer, the workload on her desk is looking mighty good right now, that and all with seokjin being a particular pest today.

"come on lila, just give him a chance i promise he's a nice guy."

"i don't care if he was the king of england i'm not going."

seokjin looks desperate now, fiddling with his tie. "lila please, i promise i won't get involved in your love life anymore." lila gives him a look. "or make you scroll through dates on dating sites when we go out for drinks."

"just please go on this date." lila faults in her typing, glancing at seokjin who has resulted into giving her puppy eyes. she sighs feeling a headache coming along.

"what time is the date?"

"seven"

"where?"

"the angel garden." lila closes her eyes already feeling that she will regret this.

"fine, text me the details." seokjin grins straightening up back to his usual charm.

"wear something sexy, show your legs." he says gesturing to her covered legs as he walks away. "see you at lunch!"

the morning goes by fairly quickly, it's mostly filled with answering the phone and going through the caseload for the day. the printer wasn't working again so she had to head to the third floor to use the one in finance.

"so who is this guy anyway?" lila asks taking a bite out of her sandwich, she's sitting with seokjin in the canteen eating lunch. seokjin has been rapid texting someone for the last five minutes.
