Joshua was now waking up tied to a tree in the woods behind the campus stadium after Kevin threw a bucket of water in his face.
Joshua woke up screaming while tied to the tree "Fuck you!"
Matt laughed "Damnit Kevin I told you we should have used the bucket of piss we planned to use as a prank during prom instead of water."
Kevin laughed
"Yeah, that would have been hilarious bro but we need to not leave our DNA at the scene remember what we researched online."
Matt realized
"Oh shitzles you're right Kev."
As Joshua tried to break free he screamed
"You two are twisted in the fucking head!"
Kevin kicked Joshua in the face
"Shut up you useless life ruining bitch!"
Joshua spit blood at Matt leaving it on his shirt before asking
"Why did you do it? Why did you kill Kayla? Was me missing a few games worth that much to you?"
Kevin got mad with enraged anger
"A few games? You mean my life! You're the reason my dreams might never come true, you bastard! She was just a bitch, haven't you heard bros before hoes?"
Matt agreed
"Yeah, bros before hoes dude you're the one in the wrong here not us."
Disgusted Joshua realized this was never them goofing off or an act to be funny, it was truly who they were.
Joshua asked another question
"What did Jessica and Gretchen do to you?"
Kevin laughed
"Oh, those two didn't really do anything to us, Me and Matt just had such a blast killing Kayla we wanted the thrill again they just happened to fit the bill, and for the snitch bitch giving you guys clues he was just in the way of us getting away with it so we had to kill him too."
Matt with a sarcastic sadness
"It sucks we had to kill a bro, we normally prefer killing women, but if the bro isn't worthy he's gotta go to ya know?"
Joshua stalling for time asked more questions.
"And the bags?"
Matt laughed and told Joshua
" Because nobody wants to see a dead body like that eyes all glossed over and shit, that shit is kinda scarring man."
Kevin laughed
"Nah, for real the first time we saw a dead body was Kayla and I had a nightmare or two not gonna lie but then I realized I'm a bad mofo, and I can take out who I want when I want and it's fun."
Matt chimed in
"Hell yeah bro."
Joshua then asked stalling more
"Why stabbing?"
Kevin simply replied with a smile
"Because knives are cheaper than guns Josh knives are cheaper than guns."
Matt
"And gun laws am I right?"
Kevin laughed and high-fived Matt over the joke.
Matt grabbed a knife about to stab Joshua in the face but Kevin interrupted
"No don't kill him yet Let's ruin his career like he did mine so he knows before he dies that his dreams are dead too even in hell."
Kevin took the knife stabbing it into Joshua's hand hard and through it. Joshua screamed in pain.
Meanwhile Michael and Hannah hearing a scream in the woods looked at each other concerned. They wondered if it was Joshua who just screamed and started to rush in the direction they heard it happen.
Michael speaking
"I don't like the sound of that we better hurry."
Matt stomping the knife into Joshua's hand he yelled
"This is payback for what you did to my fucking face!"
Kevin laughed saying
"He did mess up your face pretty bad bro."
Matt retorted
"Don't talk about my face!" and twisted the knife into Joshua's hand with his foot hard as Joshua screamed again.
Hannah and Michael moved through the woods their steps quiet yet purposeful and quick as they discussed how to approach the dangerous situation ahead.
Hannah speaking in hushed tones suggested "We need to be careful Michael. If Joshua is in danger we can't take Kevin and Matt lightly I'm not feeling good about this whole situation."
Michael nodded
"I know Hannah Joshua's safety is our priority right now we absolutely must stick together and If they're armed we need to find an advantage with our bats"
Hannah glanced around searching for any sign of Joshua
"It's true we have bats but we need to catch them off guard and like sneak up if we can."
As they continued through the woods, the tension grew thicker. Suddenly they spotted Joshua tied down and their conversation halted as they witnessed Matt stomping into his hand while Kevin watched.
The sight sent shivers down their spines but they knew they had to act quickly.
The urgency in their eyes intensified and they prepared to confront the danger that awaited them.
