London, 2019

The months passed, and the days grew cold. The summer breeze was turning crisp, and sunshine wasn't as common anymore, even for England. Autumn was arriving strongly this year.

How the seasons changed has always amused Juno. Since she could muster a thought, she had questioned the earth and why it changed. Soon, she found out about the four seasons, winter, spring, summer, and autumn. In England, the changes were rather boring, the trees never changing much nor the grey sky, but she still felt a connection to these changes, that could be so intense in some places, and so unrecognisable in others.

That was Juno, in a nutshell. She changed herself and her path in life multiple times already, and she was only 19. She didn't fear change, just like summer turns into autumn every year, with no change, Juno felt the need to twist her way of living every once in a while.

Every week that passed, the need for change grew inside her, like a colossal fire that was started by an innocent candle. She couldn't keep it in anymore, it was burning her alive.

As soon as she stepped foot into the Arsenal women's locker room, earlier than usual, she searched for a familiar head of blond hair and a tucked-in shirt.

"Leah, Le, Le. I need to tell you something, it's important.", Juno said seriously.

Leah frowned, she was confused as to what could possibly be wrong this early on a Wednesday morning. "Okay Jo, tell me then. What's wrong?"

"I don't belong here."

Juno spit out what she had been holding onto so dearly, but she was still scared for her friend's reaction. Leah took some seconds to understand what she was hearing, but it was no use.

"What? Juno you're confusing me, please elaborate." Leah motioned for her friend to sit next to her, and as she sat she responded.

"Ever since I got back, I've felt like a force that's pulling me back... from... something, I'm not too sure either.", said Juno unsurely.

"I- I... I don't know." the 19 year old was at a loss, she couldn't piece together what her mind was telling her. To her, her thoughts had created an intricate puzzle that simply couldn't be resolved.

But for Leah, it was so perfectly clear it shocked her.

"You want to switch clubs, Arsenal doesn't satisfy you anymore.", she stated.

Juno looked up to her with eyes blowing as wide as her mouth as it dropped.

"What? No- Leah, no I don't want to leave. I literally just got back, I-" Leah silenced her with a knowing look. "It's okay darl. You clearly hadn't gotten there yet but it's okay. I understand, actually."

"You do?", questioned Juno, still processing information.

"I do, but it's not time for that right now.", the blonde responded, "For now, just accept the fact that you want to move on. It's natural, Jo. Some people need change in their life and some don't. You were always the energetic one anyway."

"I feel like I'm betraying the club...", said Jo unsurely, Leah rarely saw her this vulnerable and open.

"You are not, even if there are fans that will say so, believe me, you are not."

And Juno believed her.

"One last thing Le, could you not tell anyone yet? I haven't even spoken to Joe."

"Of course Jo. Now come on, let's go warm up."
