After literally being dragged from the comfort of your apartment and driving for nearly three hours, Ava finally stopped on a block where other vehicles were parked at. Looking out the window you spotted people all over a house lawn, inside the structure and party lights going. Your guts tightened— signalling that you were extremely nervous.
You tuned to Ava and shook your head "Ava I can't do this, there's to many people here" You disclaimed.— "Y/n, yes you can. You can do this, just take a deep breath; remember you're here to enjoy yourself and nothing else"
Letting out an exhale you smiled dearly and opened the passenger side door, Ava ran over and threw an arm around your neck. You peaked at her with adoration and just grinned you didn't know how you got lucky with her— She was a sibling you never had, she was your pusher who encouraged you to do anything to the best of your ability and to go above and beyond.
Stepping up the stone steps you entered a 70s structured house, and boy was it spacious and packed with civilians.
You had a group of boys surrounded by a barrel of alcohol having a chugging contest, a group of people smoking blunts and cigarettes.Tch... this was definitely a party....
"Yo Ava! Glad you could make it, I missed you!" A boy yelled. Yes boy not a man, he wasn't even close to one.
Flicking the guy off "Who's that?" You whispered.— "My ex, just ignore him." She grumbled.
Well isn't that fantastic, but this is for you to enjoy yourself just relax and breath, you got this. Right?.... Right-
"Ava! Girl get your ass over here!" A voice called, her face instantly transitioned to a glowing expression then what it was seconds ago. "Omg! Hey you'll be alright alone right?" She utter.
"I uh- I don't thi-" Getting cut off by the hyperactive being. "Great! I love you, remember enjoy yourself. Don't stress it!" She yelled while walking off to the group. You just stood there shocked, you didn't even want to come to this stupid party Ava practically begged you to come. And she just left you alone, not forgetting the fact you didn't even know anyone here besides her.
How are you supposed to enjoy yourself if you're the only odd one out, the only unfamiliar species surrounded by clones. It was extremely unfair. This was worst than a fatal death, it was sheer embarrassment."Wonderful..." You overstated in a whisper, which was audible for your ears only. Well it was only audible for you because of the blasting music. Twisting your head you saw a table filled to the brim with varieties of bottles; just what you needed. A drink.
Settling on bourbon you filled your silicone cup up to the top, if you was going to 'enjoy' yourself. Might as well get drunk.
Leaning against a table you just scanned the whole atmosphere, observing every nick and cranny. Your globes plastered to a circle of people, it looked like they were playing spin the bottle or truth or dare. That was thrilling, so why not go ahead and join the game.Shrugging your shoulders you stumbled over standing behind a pupil you spoke up "Hey!" They turned around and looked up from their sitting position. "What's up?!"
"What are you guys playing?"
"Uhh" He turned around then back to you "Truth or dare! Wanna join in?"
"Sure!" You smiled.
"Hey man scoot over" He patted his friend arm and they all shimmied over, you sat beside him adjusting yourself. Previously you got a count of seven people including him then yourself so currently there was eight people sitting around.
