Moriah had set up an appointment for today at 3:00 and I was shitting bricks. I know this my baby but anything can happen and what if it comes back that she's not mines? Imma lose my shit. We were sitting in the waiting area waiting to be called back. I haven't made a lick of eye contact with her since we got here.
"GARRISON" the nurse called out.
We both stood up and followed the lady to the back. She asked a couple questions then got to swabbing me and the baby. After the test we were told it would take a couple of days to receive the results but I've been down this road before so it's nothing new. I walked Moriah and the baby to her car just so that I know they got out of here safely.
"Is it still fuck me?" She asked with a pouted kicking her feet.
"I don't know" I shrugged nonchalantly.
"You don't love me anymore do you?" She pouted. I do just not at the moment.
"When the test results come back we'll talk" I reassured her as I opened the car door for her. I took the baby and strapped her in on the back passenger side of the passenger seat.
"Can we talk now? I hate feeling like this"
My phone buzzed in my pocket seeing that I got a call from Meya school. Her ass better not be playing sick.
"Hello?" I answered ignoring Moriah question.
"Hi is this mokani clifthart?" A lady asked on the phone.
"Yes this is he" I answered. Sound bout white af and professional.
"We have Meya in the office for an incident that occurred today. Are you able to come up to the school to speak with the principle?"
"What incident?" I asked scrunching up my face. She better not have pissed herself.
"I don't have all the details but it was a fight between her and another student" she replied.
"I'm a little far out right now but I'll be on my way."
"Is there anyone that you can send on your behalf?" She asked.
"I'm gonna send her brother up there and I'll just meet him there when I can"
"Ok I'll let the principal know" she said and hung up.
"Is everything ok?" Moriah asked tugging on my shirt.
