Hotel Solis stood tall and proud up a mountain which was a very slippery car ride up. It looked beautiful, the exterior was modelled out of stained glass. It probably looked beautiful in the summer when the sun reflected off all the colourful decorative glass.

The interior was just as beautiful as intricate patterns were carved onto the wooden ceiling. There were beautiful paintings hung up on the reservation area. I couldn't wait to see the rooms.

Jet Lag could be a bitch. The way my limbs felt like bricks was proof of that. As the door to our suite opened I was very ready to throw myself at the bed and just go away to sleep land. So much for enjoying the interior deco but then my brain found a big problem with our room arrangement.

There was one bed. Just one single bed. Sure it was huge but still, One bed.

I was ready to try to get another room but then again I guess it was normal for a couple to share a bed. But we weren't a couple. Looking around there was also a couch propped by a fireplace, that should work right?

I could take the couch, cause there was no way in hell I was asking Lucifer to take the couch like I was some pissed off wife.

My limbs still felt like lead and taking one last, long look at the bed, I trudged towards the couch to sleep and immediately started dreaming.

Why was the couch super soft and fluffy? It felt super comfortable. Opening my eyes, a white colour bed canopy was the first thing I saw. That was weird. Why was there a bed canopy over a couch that was not there when I went to sleep.

Oh wait. I was sleeping on the bed now. I sat up looking around. How did I end up on the bed? There was just two explanations that came to mind.

One, I sleepwalked or Two, Lucien carried me. I looked for signs of Lucifer because as much as I wanted it to be option 1, I don't sleepwalk.

The doors leading to the balcony were open so I got up, stretched and walked to the balcony and there leaning against the railing was Lucien, head turned to the side and his long inky black hair out and splaying in the wind.

The dark blue sky with the mountains visible only due to the snowy caps created a beautiful background. I wanted to snap a picture.

"Are you done staring or do you want to take a picture?"
Did he read my thoughts?

He was looking at me his eyes back to red and was smiling. I had been caught staring. I felt my cheeks heat up.

"Someone could see you," I said in an effort to change the subject as I wrapped my hands around myself as I walked to stand next to him.

His eyes glowed and the cold around me disappeared as it got warmer.

"Thank you,"

"I feel like you keep forgetting I'm a demon, Only when I want to be seen can I be seen and even then they see only what I want them to see,"

That have me chills. His back was still to the railing and he had turned his head to look and me and his eyes had started to glow towards the end of his sentence.

"So... do you really not look like that or do you just want people drooling over you,"

He started to laugh."This is not my true form no but it's not very different from this."

I was kind of scared to see his true form but curious at the same time.

"Thank you for taking me to the bed but you didn't have to do that, you can take the bed while I take the couch," I replied breaking the eye contact we had as I tuned to look towards the mountain peak.
