"A SENT THIS LETTER TO MY MOM." Aria summarised. After the events of last night, the girls had been asked by Spencer to stay at the Hasting's residence as the brunette girl didn't want to be alone.

But, turns out A had caused a lot more havoc that night apart from writing some words in lipstick on a mirror.

A had sent Aria's mom a letter, talking about an affair that Byron was having with one of his students. Not only did it break Ella's heart, but it also outed the fact that Aria knew all about it.

"You know it's not your fault, right?" Emily asked, "It's your dad's mistake, totally."

"No, it is my fault." Aria looked up from the letter in her hand and towards the girls. Aria was sat on Spencer's couch, while Quinn, Hanna and Emily all sat on barstools around the kitchen island. Spencer was then stood up, a coffee pot in her hand.

"You did not hook up with her and then ask your kid to cover for you." Spencer stated, pouring Quinn a cup of coffee.

"Ali said i should've told my mom right after it happened." Aria shrugged.

Quinn furrowed her brows, "Hold on, Ali knew?"

"Yeah, she was with me." Aria quickly responded, not wanting to get into the topic. She took a sip of her coffee.

"So Alison saw this Meredith person?" Spencer scrunched her nose, almost like she was disgusted.

"Meredith?" Hanna looked between the girls, "Her name is Meredith? Ew! That's not even a cute-girl name. I'm seeing big pores and mousy roots."

"Hanna, i think it's a little too soon to joke." Spencer lowered her voice so Aria couldn't hear.

"I'm sorry, but if you're going to cheat, you might as well do it with somebody who deep-conditions their hair, occasionally." Hanna scoffed.

"Here, put something in your mouth beside your foot." Spencer motioned to the plate with a bagel on it. Quinn handed it towards Hanna.

Hanna sighed and turned back to Aria, "I'm sorry, okay? Look, all i'm saying is that, when my dad left, laughing sometimes helped. So did crying."

"My father hasn't left, guys." Aria said, standing up and walking over to the kitchen island, "I mean, this happened over a year ago." Aria looked at all the girls' expressions, "You think he's gonna leave?"

"Aria, when my dad cheated on my mom, she knew what she wanted to do instantly, but it wasn't for her benefit. She chose to kick my dad out to protect me, and if your mom knows what's good for you, she will do the exact same. Of course, it matters how she feels, but when you're a mother, kids come first. Besides, once your parents separate you get used to it." Quinn shrugged, taking a massive gulp of her coffee.
