Arthur Drake POV

"You did what!?" Grandfather shouted at me after I told him about my deal with Rias and Sona. I spoke my reasoning, "Now hold on, let me explain. No matter what, Issei is going to die to a fallen angel named Raynare, this will be after receiving a summoning circle from one of Rias' familiars. His wish will be to... squeeze her boobs? Or was it to see her? Never mind, that isn't important. After a fight to rescue a friend, he ends up going beyond what was thought to be the sacred gear "Twice Critical", showing the true form of the Boosted Gear. Then, slightly later, he then fights in a raiding game, which spreads the new wielder of the Boosted Gear far and wide." I smirked as I looked to grandfather, "So, two things I want and three favors from both Rias Gremory and Sona Sitri seems like a great exchange for information that will inevitably become well known, yes?"

Grandfather, who I thought would likely still be angry, sat back and thought for a moment. He then asked, "Who's the raiding game against?" I replied, not faulting with my information, "Riser Phenex, Rias didn't want to marry him. So they fight it out, Rias' peerage losing. Issei, who's completely insane, sacrifices his left arm to fight Riser, for ten seconds, in balance breaker. However, his sacrifice of his arm allows his weakness against holy items to not work on it. Which, in a mix with crosses and holy water, allow him to take the day. Believe it or not, marriage called off." Grandfather thought, then sighed, "After a show like that, I bet it would be well known." He tapped his finger on his desk, then said, "You can keep the favors and things, you made this plan thoughtfully with your extended knowledge. I won't hold you back from taking your own risks, especially since they know you aren't fully human now."

He stood, then said, "You have to train though, and I made sure to print something off for you." He went to the printer and handed me a freshly printed sheet, "Use this regimen, it'll keep you safe as you train the rest of the way. I got it from someone trustworthy, it might even allow you enlightenment to your other half." He smirked I took the paper, "I want to see if you can uncover what the other half of your blood is, mostly out of curiosity. It's not a requirement for anything, you just ignited my curiosity of your intelligence of this world after all." I nodded, not really minding, "Ok, just don't expect it though. I'm good, but not that good to guess out of a multitude of potential options when I lack even the basics of my blood." I began to review it, then nodded, "Alright, with what I have now, it shouldn't bee too much more of a burden." Grandfather seemed surprised, then sighed, "That's talent for you, alright, go do stuff, I got paperwork to look through."

Once he said that, I was out of the room, I had no goal to be anywhere right now, so I just worked on getting stronger. During physical training, I was thinking about my blood, or in regards, mental stimulation. I confirmed I wasn't an angel, fallen angel, or devil, my magic was too different for that to be the case, even the spell circle I used for my spells wasn't the same. It even felt like the activation was different, considering I got the feeling of it slightly from Caera, so I can assume they do something similar, but in a different manner than what exists now. Physically, there are no changes to me, but my strength is incredible right now, enough that makes me know I'm not of the three races. As I trained, I felt a tap on my shoulder, Caera had a bottle of water, "You've been at it for hours, take a break." I was confused, when I checked the time, I really had been training for hours. I took the bottle and took a drink, "Thanks Caera, I've just been thinking, I won't do much more today, it could cause worry."

Caera and I sat down, I told her I was trying to pinpoint what my half race was aside human, but we moved to how we could improve ourselves. One issue we had, mostly being new to combat, was being slow on our feet. That was when I had a quite marvelous idea in my opinion, "Caera, what do fighters and dancers have in common?" Caera seemed thrown off by my sudden question, she thought, then said, "They have to have technique?" I nodded, "Yes, but not quite. The answer is we have to be quick on our feet, and at times, flexible. So, in theory, if we can learn to dance, solo and together, we can get a better chance to increase our footwork and speed. You may ask about speed, but the reason behind that is some songs require fast yet nimble footwork." I looked to her, I could see the shine in my eyes through hers, "So, how about we take the time to learn to dance, who knows, we might have to dance in high society as a cover or something." Caera thought, then said, "Sure, it knocks out several birds with one stone after all." With that, we began to practice dancing along with our other regimens.
