As little Koko walked down the streets of her little urban town, she felt at ease with herself. She hopped over each crack of the side walk, not risking the painful demise of her mother's spine. She skipped and skipped before reaching the Suki Suki candy shop. She had saved up some money for a little treat that Friday. As Koko walked inside, she was greeted by a kind aura and a kind old lady.

"Hello, Mrs. Okiyaro!" young Koko shouted to the old woman. "Why, hello little Koko! How are you today?" Mrs. Okiyaro exclaimed before asking about Koko's day. "It was real fun! I won the game we were playing and Mrs. Shiya gave me a cute pencil eraser, you see?" Koko abruptly held up her prize. "Well, isn't that just neat?" Okiyaro smiled, leaning down on the counter. "Uh-huh! But I'm not gonna use it yet! I don't wanna waste it! It's too cute to ruin!" Koko pouted. "Well, Koko, we sell that same little eraser here. If you want, I'll supply you with another one after that one perishes." Okiyaro made an offer that was considered prestigious to a girl Koko's age. Little Koko's face lit up. "You'd really do that for me? I love you, Okiyaro!" Koko announced, jumping up with glee. "So, did you come in here to get the homemade sour packet candy like every Friday?" Okiyaro asked, preparing a bag packed to the brim with the candy. "Mhmm! Okiyaro makes the best sour packet candy in the whole wide world!" Koko shouted out as Okiyaro giggled.

As little Koko later left the shop, she stopped next to the alleyway of a beige house. "Miyoooooo!" Koko called out, "c'mon cute little Miyo! No need to hide, I have a treat for you!" A black cat suddenly sprung up from it's sleeping spot, allowing itself to raise from the grass and into Koko's field of vision. The cat yawned, stretched and looked to Koko with its walled eyes, looking foolish but quite silly. The cat trotted it's way up to Koko, who prepared a treat for the feline. "This chicken ball was in my lunch today, and I saved it for you! You better thank me, small one, 'cause I really like chicken balls and I'm letting you have my last one!" Koko pouted, still showing her glimpses of joy. She watched as Miyo sniffed the chicken ball and started licking it, finally sinking her teeth into the savory snack. After Miyo finished the snack, she plopped down onto her back, revealing her adorable belly. "Hmmph!" Koko pouted, crossing her little arms, "I said you gotta thank me!"

After petting the cat, Koko heard the bell of the clock tower ring, and walked home to her parents. Koko ate her supper and fell asleep on her little bed.
