The next morning arrived with a flurry of activity. Jeong had everything packed and ready to go. Hae-won, on the other hand, found himself inexplicably slow, meticulously checking and rechecking his bag, hoping to quell the butterflies erupting in his stomach.
As they drove away from the city, a comfortable silence settled between them. Stolen glances and awkward silences. Won, usually a chatterbox in the group, found himself tongue-tied. Jeong, ever observant, simply chuckled. When he was humming along to a familiar tune, Won's eyes closed, a peaceful smile playing on his lips. Was it the thrill of a secret adventure, or something more? Aghh..Won, you dimwit what are you thinking! Unbelievable!
He clears his throat and fixes his seat. "Kitty, are you alright?" Jeong asked. Damn! He was flustered with the sudden endearment. "Hyung!!! Lol. Am I a cat?" He is trying back with his composure.
"Yes, you are! Haha. See? It seems you are hissing already." Pouting Hae-won is adorably cute. Lol. Like I am seeing whiskers and cat ears right now. Hyeon-Jeong smiled and giggled, it caught Won's attention. He even pouted more.
