On the third day in the afternoon, melted into a lazy haze of movie marathons, cheesy rom-coms (Jeong's pick), and the Avengers (Won's pick). Laughter spilled between them, punctuated by Jeong's dramatic gasps and Won's snorting commentary.
"This is nice," Jeong remarked, sighing contentedly as she stretched out on the floor, head pillowed on Won's lap. "Hyung, sunset's calling. Don't you want to see it?" Won said.
They walked to the beach, the sand cool and yielding beneath their bare feet. They brought a basket full of finger food bites and a can of beers.
Their laughter mingled with the rhythmic roar of the waves, a constant soundtrack to their getaway at the rest house by the beach. They popped the caps open, satisfying hiss a toast. As they sipped their beers, a comfortable silence settled between them.
They talked for a while, about nothing and everything. But most of the time, content in each other's presence, the sound of the waves lulling them into a comfortable state. It is clear from their red faces that they are both now tipsy.
Jeong noticed Won staring at him, a hint of a smile playing on his lips. His cheeks flushed warm. "What?"
He shrugged, his voice barely a whisper. "Just thinking... maybe next time, we could do this again, just the two of us."
The salty wind whipped Jeong's hair around his face, the taste of the sea heavy on his tongue. Despite the cool night air, a warmth bloomed in his chest as Won spoke.
Their gazes locked, and Jeong gulped. Won's scent was intoxicating, his eyes, his...shit the dimples peeking. Jeong's eyes traced a silent path, a triangle from Won's shimmering eyes to the inviting curve of his lips, back to those captivating eyes again. A slow, deliberate movement brought his face closer, mirroring Won's own tilt.
Then, a touch. Jeong's warm fingers grazed his jaw, a spark igniting at the contact. Won, unable to bear the suspense any longer, peeked open one eye. Their gazes met again, this time with a new intensity, a silent confession. Fuck, this will be my first kiss ever..how to kiss properly? Won's confused thoughts Aghh..who cares! and unintentionally close his eyes again.
Jeong's lips curved into a tender smile, a single, perfect counterpoint to the moonlit scene. Won's breath hitched. This wasn't what he'd expected. Jeong's lips brushed his forehead first, a chaste kiss filled with tenderness. Then his cheek, sending a jolt of electricity down Won's spine.
Finally, Jeong reached his destination. His lips met Won's in a soft exploration. It was everything Won had craved, a slow burn that quickly ignited into a passionate inferno. Jeong bit Won's lower lip while pulling it slowly, then his upper lip, then, back to his lower lip. Like Jeong wanted to eat him up. The sensation had built up when Won's mouth on him felt good.
Damn, this is what kissing felt like! Won felt Jeong's tongue all over his mouth, this damn man was exploring every inch inside! Why this feels so good? When Jeong let go of his lips to breathe, after a few seconds, he claimed Won's again. Now, both breathing heavily, Jeong leaned in to place a soft kiss on Won's lips.
"How's the kiss?" Jeong asked Won caressing his nape. Won bit his lower lip and said "I-I kind of like it." Hearing this immediately Jeong kissed him back torridly. They devoured each other, the sound of the waves now a distant hum as they lost themselves in the heat of the moment.
