Jin sighed, feeling incredibly bored, as he sat on the basketball court, resting his head on his hands while he watched the boys practicing on the ground. His eyes were on the match, but his mind was stuck on one person, as always: Jungkook. He couldn't stop thinking about him.

He pouted, burying his face between his hands. It had been a week since that incident happened. Jin made sure to help Jungkook as long as he was injured, of course. At first, Jungkook didn't accept his help, but Jin would try to assist him in any way possible. However, Jungkook would always politely reject it, even though he was always polite and kind. Jin still couldn't help but feel like maybe he was making the other uncomfortable, which made him feel sad.

Anyways, Jin could have little conversations with him, but after Jungkook's hand had recovered, he even lost the chance to talk. After that, Jin had no way to communicate with him at all. It had been a week since then. He couldn't engage in any other topic. He was shy, nervous, and awkward. Just looking at Jungkook made him feel things.

Plus, Jin also thinks Jungkook wouldn't like him talking nonsense, and he might be feeling uncomfortable too. Jungkook really is the sweetest person Jin has ever encountered. He'd never yell if he were uncomfortable. Jin isn't exactly sure if he makes the latter feel discomfort. This might prevent Jin from talking with him.

Also, if he tries, he always ends up embarrassing himself, not knowing what to say because he just forgets words whenever Jungkook flashes his smile. Jungkook does smile, always showing his politeness, but Jin is sure that the smile Jungkook shows to him is a bit different. Jin doesn't know why he thinks that, or maybe he is just being delusional as always.

But Jin is also sure that as the silent kid of the class, Jungkook does notice him, and maybe Jin is the only one in the class with whom Jungkook has talked the most.

Jin is sure aware that Jungkook likely thinks of him as crazy, as Jin always finds himself in embarrassing situations in front of Jungkook. He can't understand why he feels inexplicably nervous whenever Jungkook is nearby, when they converse, or even when Jungkook smiles or they unintentionally lock eyes.

Jin knows that Jungkook, due to his eye condition, has no idea about their eye contact moments, as he always keeps his eyes straight ahead without knowing who or what he is looking at. However, for Jin, each single eye contact sends his heart racing, gives him goosebumps, and makes him feel so weirdly good. These small moments make Jin feel many emotions together, leaving him all confused.

Despite feeling so nervous and awkward, Jin can't explain how badly he just wants to stick near to Jungkook and talk with him continuously. He just couldn't shake the desire to be near the latter.

Despite their lack of conversation, Jin always finds himself lingering around Jungkook, observing him closely. While Jungkook rarely leaves the classroom, always staying inside and writing things Jin is unaware of, Jin can't help but be drawn to him. He's aware that he might just be invisible to Jungkook, merely seen as a classmate or the one who accidentally injured his hand. However, for Jin, Jungkook's mere presence is enough to make his heart skip a beat.

Jin's thoughts are abruptly interrupted when he spots someone unexpected yet unfamiliar on the basketball court.

"Jungkook?!" Jin whispered, seeing Jungkook standing on the basketball court.

"What is he doing here?" Jin whispered as he immediately stood up, only to get smacked on the head and sit back down.

"Shit, Jimin! What?" Jin growled, rubbing his head when Jimin suddenly appeared out of nowhere and smacked him on the head.

"Where were you going?" Jimin asked, sitting beside Jin, who gulped nervously before replying.

"N-Nowhere. Are you here to watch the match too?" Jin asked, hiding his nervousness.
