The ballroom was decorated elegantly, where distinguished guests gathered for a prestigious medical awards ceremony.

"Ladies and gentlemen, it is with great honor that we gather tonight to recognize excellence in the field of medicine. Our next winner isn't just really good at what he does; he's also helped a lot of people because he cares so much. He has touched many people's hearts with his care and compassion. Please join me in welcoming Dr. Jeon Jungkook!"

Jin felt tears welling up as he watched his husband, Jeon Jungkook, dressed in a sleek tuxedo, ascend the stage to receive the award. Jungkook smiled and bowed at the guests as he looked at the trophy before scanning the crowd, his eyes particularly searching for one person.

"Thank you. It is truly humbling to receive this honor among such esteemed colleagues. Um... I don't actually know what to say. Being an ophthalmologist wasn't my intention at first, but after an incident happened, I embraced it as my one and only dream. I won't call that incident tragic because it led me to meet an angel, my beloved husband, of course. For him, I found the courage and strength to pursue my dream. I was fortunate to have many kind people around me. That's what made me stronger to stand on my own feet. I also gratefully thank my seniors, my friends, and the patients who gave me their trust; it means a lot to me. I will continue to do my best in this field and help people regain their eyesight to see how the world works. Thank you all." Jungkook finished his words with a smile as everyone there began to clap loudly and cheer for him.

"Appa... why do you keep crying?"

"Don't you know he's an emotional person?"

"Well, that idiot is crying too."

"Keep quiet, brats," Jin scolded down his kids, picking up his daughter who was crying along with him while his two sons only sighed.

Eight-year-old Jeon Soobin and Jeon Beomgyu glanced at one another then looked at their appa wiping off his tears while their little sister, five-year-old Jeon Yuna, was crying too.

"Jiminie uncle, say something to him," Jeon Beomgyu said, only to find his uncle Jimin was crying too.

"Great, are we supposed to take care of these crying elders?"

"We are kids, aren't we supposed to be crying?"

"I don't know. Now, where is Yeonjun? Don't tell me he is lost," Soobin spoke, looking around.

"You care about him too much."

"As if you don't care about Taehyun. Now, where are those two?" Soobin asked, glaring at his brother.

"I don't know." Beomgyu pouted.

"Now, let's not talk nonsense. Look, dad is coming; let him take care of appa. Let's go and look for Taehyun and Yeonjun," Soobin said as he held Beomgyu's hand and slipped out from the crowd.

"Angel, what are you crying for? Aish, Yuna baby, you are crying too?" Jungkook asked in disbelief as he found both of his babies crying nonstop. Yuna hugged her father tightly as Jungkook wiped off Jin's tears and kissed his forehead. "Stop crying, my babies."

"I- I can't... my doctor hubby." Jin sniffles.

"Gosh, let's go. Where are Tae and Yoongi?" Jungkook asked Jimin as he hugged Jin, who started to cry into his chest.

"Outside. They were already exhausted from receiving their own awards and didn't want to come in since it was so crowded," Jimin replied, as he finally stopped crying,

"I see. Then let's go out," Jungkook said as they exited the place.

Jeon Yuna was busy playing with her father's shiny trophy, while Jeon Beomgyu was busy trying to steal it from her, and Jeon Soobin was busy smacking Yeonjun on the head nonstop.
