The ticketman didn't stop Euphoria when she walked pass. He simple gave her a glance then turned back to herding the people trying to get on the rollercoater.
He pushed a large, impatient golom woman back. She groaned and threw a punch to his chest. The impact made the dice in the ticketsman's brooch shake, but he otherwise didn't react.
The ticketman raised an eyebrow and preceded to throw the golom over the crowd.
Euphoria winced at the sound of the impact but didn't give anymore sympathy. She didn't like linecutters either, especially if they tried to pick a fight with the ticketman.
She could see people climbing off the rollercoaster from her position before the entrance. Galant wasn't among them.
Once Euphoria walked through the entrance the area around her changed.
She found herself in an orange, dream-like space. She couldn't tell where the horizon ended and the sky began. Before her was the rollercoaster, except now the rails had extended around her, become much longer and more complex then it previously was.
Euphoria turned behind her. The entrance has disappeared.
She heard Galant's scream, tensed, then relaxed. That was a scream of excitement, not fear. They at least weren't torturing him.
She summoned her warhammer, resting the large thing on her shoulder. She didn't even stumble at the weight despite the head being bigger than her torso.
"Galant!" she called.
A scream answered, but it moved so fast she couldn't tell where it was coming from.
"Hello, my dear."
Euphoria threw her warhammer at Roulette. It passed harmlessly through the apparation.
Euphoria groaned, "Coward."
"I'm not going to fight a Powerine. Your father made it very clear what a bad idea that is last time we had a spat." He self-consciously adjusted his jacket sleeves.
"So what is this game you thought up?" Euphoria asked, looking around at the rollercoaster tracks, listening for sounds of screaming.
"It's easy." He turned around. "All you have to do is stop that cart." He pointed to the distance, where Euphoria could just barely make out a passing cart with Galant inside. "Good luck."
The apparition disappeared.
Euphoria took her baton and climbed onto the rail. She ran along it and to the top of the incline, finding a better view of the area.
The rails seemed to extend for kilometers, some extending passed the horison. Some rails made inclines that reached above the atmosphere, if this place had an atmosphere. It seemed to be some kind of pocket dimension. Ruled by its own rules.
She heard the scream again.
She found the cart a good distance away. She ran down the incline, focusing her powers to ignore friction. She stopped running and started sliding downward.
She crouched down and allowed her fingers to create friction as normal. She brushed her fingers on the ground (or air?) next to her so that she will turn instead of flying off in one direction.
She found herself approaching a large incline, pointing at the general direction Galant was heading. She let herself be thrown off the edge of the incline. She shot through the air until she was moving parallel above Gallant's cart.
She removed the force from her flight and immediately plummeted downward. Landing on the front of the cart.
Galant was suprised by her sudden appearance then smiled. "Hi Har-Har!"
