Aaron Knight
"Excellent, John! This way our company will get this deal for sure.. Our hardwork will pay off." Aaron praises his assistant for his work.
Aaron Knight is the CEO of the topmost company of the city. He made his name renowned at a very young age when he had to take the reigns of the company in his hands, that was going bankrupt, courtesy to his father.
He started from scratch and has reached the heights of success. Despite being a billionaire, he has such a humble and down to earth personality, that everyone adores. He treats his co workers as his family and so do the co workers.
"Thank you, sir!" John smiles. These appreciations motivate the staff to do more hard work for their company.
"You can leave now and let's call it a night." Aaron dismisses the assistant and closes his eyes. His head is throbbing with the amount of work he has been doing these past few weeks on a new project. He just wants to get back to his home and sleep soundly.
He takes the elevator and reaches the parking lot.
His driver, George, is already waiting for him. George greets him and opens the door. Aaron nodded and sit at the back seat closing his eyes.
The car stops and hearing the commotion outside, Aaron asks the driver to check what it is all about.
Driver returns and says, "There was an accident, sir and Police have been investigating the area. We can't go through this road."
Aaron groans. "Do you know any other route or a short cut..?" He asks.
Driver thinks for a while and nods.
But as if the fate has something else in store for him.. His car again stopped with a jerk. George get out of the car and inspects the situation.
"Sir, the tire has punctured and we don't have a new one. But don't you worry, I know a mechanic here nearby. I'll get him soon." With that said, he ran off.
Aaron was exhausted. He so wants to get back to his bed and sleep. But the situation doesn't let him.
Sighing, he decides to get out of the car for some fresh air, thinking it would relieve him of the headache.
A cool breeze is blowing, instantly putting his mind at ease. He walks some distance and closes his eyes.
All of a sudden, he hears someone shouting.
He opens his eyes to look around but nothing seems to be there. Thinking his exhausted mind must be playing tricks, he again closes his eyes and inhale deeply.
Again he hears some pleas for help. He opens his eyes this time and concentrate on the sound. The sound is coming from the alley to his left.
His legs, as if on autopilot mode, goes towards the sounds. And what he saw, shocks him. A girl was being abused in front of him. She was pleading him to leave her but he slaps her hard. Aaron is rooted to his place in shock, but when that goon puts a knife on her cheek, as if it broke the trance he was in, he charges towards the goon which leads the girl to drop on the ground. Aaron starts beating him mercilessly.
The one thing that Aaron hates the most is disrespecting a woman. He places his fists again and again with the goon's face until he bleeds and faint. Aaron is panting by now.
He turns back to see if the girl is alright.. But no one is there. Dim lighting of the street isn't helping either.
All of a sudden, he sees something on the ground curled up in a ball.. He crouches near it and saw the girl. He turns her to have a good look of her face..
And when he sees, it is as if, he was dreaming. He can't believe his eyes. He pats her cheek to help her gain consciousness, but in vain.
His eyes show a mixture of happiness, sadness, anger, relief all at once.
For he has finally found what he was searching for years, the girl who gave him hope..
And he promises to himself that he would save her no matter what..
