As the morning sun gently streamed through the curtains, Tae slowly woke up, feeling Jungkook still wrapped around him. He smiled at the sight of the young boy sleeping peacefully, his arms clutching Tae tightly.Carefully, Tae shifted to get up, trying not to disturb Jungkook. To his surprise, Jungkook stirred and woke up too, blinking sleepily up at Tae."Good morning, Kook," Tae greeted, his voice soft.Jungkook yawned, stretching his arms. "Morning, Tae. Can we stay like this a little longer?"Tae chuckled, ruffling Jungkook's hair. "As much as I'd love to, we have to get up. We have a big day ahead of us."Reluctantly, Jungkook untangled himself from Tae and got up, looking adorable with his sleepy eyes and bedhead. Tae couldn't help but let out an "aww" at the sight. After they both got up, Tae made Jungkook take a bath, playfully splashing water at each other. Jungkook protested, but he couldn't hide his laughter.Once Jungkook was clean and refreshed, Tae helped him get dressed in casual clothes. Jungkook, in his usual sassy manner, complained, "I don't want to wear this, Tae. It's too boring."Tae chuckled, kneeling down to be at eye level with Jungkook. "I know it's not as fun as your Iron Man suit, but we have to dress appropriately for the day. How about we add some Avengers stickers to your shirt?"Jungkook's eyes lit up at the suggestion. "Really? Okay, I'll wear it then!"After Jungkook was dressed, Tae changed into his suit, ready to start the day. As they headed out, Tae couldn't help but feel grateful for moments like these, where he and Jungkook could bond and make memories together.
In the morning, Tae carried Jungkook to the kitchen, setting him down on the slab next to the stove. "Alright, Kook, what's on the menu for today?" Tae asked, a playful twinkle in his eye.Jungkook's face lit up with excitement. "Eggs and banana milk, please!" he exclaimed, bouncing a little in his seat.Tae chuckled, grabbing the eggs from the fridge. "Eggs it is! How about you help me crack them?"Jungkook nodded eagerly, but when he tried to crack the egg, it ended up splattering everywhere. Tae burst into laughter, wiping a bit of egg off his cheek. "Looks like we have a future chef in the making!"Jungkook pouted, but he couldn't hide his smile. "It's not funny, Tae. Cooking is hard!"Tae ruffled Jungkook's hair affectionately. "Don't worry, Kook. We all have to start somewhere. Let me show you."Together, they cracked the eggs and whisked them, Jungkook beaming with pride as he watched the eggs sizzle in the pan. "I'm gonna be the best chef ever!" he declared, flipping the omelette with a flourish.Tae smiled, setting the table with the omelette, pancakes, strawberries, and banana milk. "Breakfast is served, Chef Jungkook!"Jungkook dug into his food, savoring every bite. "This is amazing, Tae! I can't believe I helped make this."Tae nodded, pouring himself a glass of milk. "You did a great job, Kook. Maybe we should open our own restaurant someday."Jungkook's eyes widened with excitement. "Really? That would be so cool!"As they finished their breakfast, Tae couldn't help but feel grateful for moments like these, where he and Jungkook could bond over simple pleasures. He knew that no matter what challenges they faced, as long as they had each other, everything would be okay.
As Tae was about to leave for work,
