After the mission, [Name] woke up in a hospital bed. She spent two days under the care of Shoko Ieiri, the school's doctor, who informed her about how her body had gone through intense physical exertion, almost leading to a heatstroke. Shoko suggested she'd stay with her to keep track of her body's symptoms.

During the first day in the doctor's office, [Name's] caregiver contacted her. [Name] told her mother figure about what happened. She spent about an hour listening to her caregiver express her worry and then anger as to how she needed to be careful due to her lack of experience in the Jujutsu world. [Name] didn't want to worry her mother, so instead she played it off by comparing it to the junior high fights she had been in, saying those fights were harder than the curse she fought.

For the rest of the call, [Name] spent the time talking to her caregiver about anything that came to mind. First, they talked about what she had learned during her first week there, and then they talked about the people she had met so far. She told her about the three friends she had made, as well as how weird she thought her teacher was. [Name] ended the call by promising to visit her guardian as soon as possible.

For the rest of the day, [Name] spent most of her time sleeping, occasionally waking up to Shoko to check her temperature and then answering her questions about how she was feeling and other weird ones... [Name] ended the day with the conclusion that:

'Ms. Shoko seems like the type who would enjoy dissecting me.'

On the second day, [Name] was woken up by the sound of laughter.

"...Psst...psst...psst!"

The sound came closer to the sleeping girl's ear, yet she didn't wake up.

"Psst!"

The girl began stirring in her sleep; however, she still didn't open her eyes, until the sound played again.

"Psst!"

Something had poked her side, causing the girl to spring right-side up on the bed she had just been sleeping on, almost smacking foreheads with the figure beside her. When her vision had focused, she noticed Maki sitting on the chair located on the left side of the bed. Maki turned her head away from the girl and let out a sigh, clearly disappointed in the antics of the other two individuals in the room.

[Name] turned her head towards the right, only to be met with the backs of Panda and Inumaki, as they were both too busy laughing.

'So, it was them?'

[Name], still on the bed, got on her knees and reached both of her pointer fingers towards Inumaki and Panda. She forcefully jabbed their sides, causing both of them to yell. Maki spoke up,

"[Name], please don't encourage them; they're already bad enough," she sighed.

"So, [Name], how are ya feeling?" asked Panda.

"Salmon," said Inumaki.

And so, she explained how she'd had to spend another day with Shoko to keep track of her body temperature. The four of them spent time talking about the mission she and Maki had gone on. She was happy to hear the compliments and congratulations on her first mission from her classmates. She even promised to show Panda how she fought it once she was released from Shoko's care.

Eventually, they had to say their goodbyes to [Name], as they were not excused for the day like she was. After they made their leave, [Name] was left alone and bored out of her mind, so she spent some time on her phone before falling asleep again. Shoko came in to check in on her, but not as much as she had done the day before, which left [Name] with fewer interactions throughout most of the day.
