"Again," he said.

I threw a punch at his face, but he moved before my fist could make contact with his cheek.

"Again," he repeated.

I teleported behind him, aiming a kick towards his head, but he turned around and easily blocked my leading leg with his forearm. I lowered my leg back.

"[Name], do you understand how your technique works?" he questioned.

I placed my hands on my knees, panting. "No," I replied.

An hour ago, I had been sparring with Maki until Gojo enthusiastically suggested I'd train with him. I accepted because I had no reason to say no. But if I had known that it would have been this difficult, I would have at least tried making up an excuse.

"You can manipulate the space around you with cursed energy. Because you can achieve that, the process allows you to create those glowing sparks as well as allowing you to shift your location. Something somewhat similar to my ability. However, I remain the strongest," he explained.

I regained my breath and stood back up to my original height.

'Yeah, I can see that.'

"Again, [Name]."

I went straight at him, aiming for a punch to strike him anywhere. I was getting desperate. However, no matter how many times I tried, he blocked every single hit I threw at him. He didn't attack back; he only blocked my hits, and every time I'd fall, he'd make me get back up and try once more.

'What do I do?'

"What exactly can you do?" I cautiously asked, trying to distract him.

I instantly jumped, and in the process, I twisted my body, aiming a kick at his head. He dodged it.

"I already told you, "He replied.

I landed back on the ground, and I quickly crouched down, aiming my right heel towards his stomach. He stepped aside before my leg could make contact.

"No, you said it was somewhat like mine," I countered.

"[Name], again." He said this, avoiding my statement.

I took a deep breath and stood back up before falling back down on my knees. I looked down in both frustration and exhaustion.

"Gojo-sensei, I'm not learning anything," I claimed.

He walked over to me and crouched down to my height. I looked up, expecting his reply. However, instead of voicing words, he outstretched his hand and flicked my forehead.

"Ow, what was that for?" I said, bringing a hand to my face.

"Of course, you haven't. You keep using the same methods over and over again." He replied.

'Have, I?'

"It's getting late, so we'll stop here." He helped me back up before bidding goodbye.

I walked back inside the school and made my way to the lunchroom. Once I got there, I prepared the easiest thing I could: cereal.

However, after I had taken my seat, my head quickly made contact with the table; I had passed out of exhaustion.

"Is she alive?"

"Mustard leaf."

I sprang awake when I felt pressure on my right shoulder. In defense, I grabbed the source's left arm with my right hand, bringing them closer to me. I gripped whatever item rested on my left hand and quickly brought it to the person's neck. When I looked up, I noticed I was holding a spoon at Inumaki's neck. When my actions were processed, I felt my face warm up in embarrassment.
