Maya - Batao Hometown Kahan hai?

Vivian - No way! Am not involving my family in this drama Boss. I am not going to play with their feelings like that.

Maya - Listen Vivian! Understand this, tumhari family ko kuch pata nai chalega. I will just come there like a guest.

Vivian - And why would I take you to my Cousin's Roka?? What would I tell my family??

Maya - God, you think so much! Just tell them I bumped into you in Udaipur, and you invited your boss to your cousin's celebration. I don't think it would be a big deal.

Vivian started thinking for a while

Vivian - (Thinks) Inviting my boss for a family function, I guess this won't be that hard....She will just take some pictures and leave soon! No harm done, I don't think mom iss baare mein zyada sochegi.

Maya - Kahan Kho gaye? Ab toh sab sorted haina, just Relax. Kisi ko kuch pata nai chalega...Now tell me where's your home town?

Vivian - Udaipur!!

Maya - Great, main wahan kisi hotel mein apni booking kar lungi. Will book out flight tickets...then we can discuss each other's likes and dislikes.

Vivian - Waise aapko nai lagta, you should be saying something to me??

Maya -  Oh yaa thank you for your help.

Vivian - And??? Something else too? Maybe little appreciation and some basic human respect once drama gets over

Maya - Execuse me?  Maine kab Kari tumhari disrespect

Vivian - (Think) Wow, as expected isse kuch yaad nai hai! Isme mujhe kab and kaise kaise torture Kiya hai

Maya - What respect are you talking?
I offered you a double salary, but you rejected it. I wanted to sponsor a trip, you rejected ....Karna kya chahte ho? What exactly do you want in return?

Vivian - (Thinking in mind) Tumhe abhi tak realise nai Hui Naa apni galtiyan, the way you treated me all the time.But Sorry toh main tumse bulwa kar rahunga, aur iss baat ka realisation bhi khud hoga .

Maya - Ab firse Kahan kho gaye ho?

Vivian - Nothing (He yawns)
Actually! Am tired now, I should get going....you must be tired too!

He picked up his blazer,

Maya - Haan kaafi late ho raha hai! Rest we will discuss on the flight. I will book the tickets for us.

She lead him to the door

Vivian - Sure....Goodnight Boss, see you later.

Maya - Goodnight Viv....Vivian!!

Vivian - Wow, Viv....aap abhi bhi character mein ho.

Maya just smiled and he left

Maya followed to close the door, Smiling thinking about the dinner they just had.

The day Finally arrives, and They both leave for the airport....as they reach Udaipur

Maya - Are you sure tumhari Family ko Odd nai lagega that I am accompanying you to a Roka...and I mean kaafi pareshani hogi.

Vivian - Kuch pareshani nai hogi, you don't have to take the hotel...sirf 2 din ki baat hai.

Maya asks him to take a Taxi, where Vivian tells her everything is arranged for him in the hometown...She sees a Lavish car at the airport, waiting for him.

Maya is shocked when she sees the car, with driver welcoming him as if he's some prince..

As the car stops, Maya sees a huge mansion straight out from some Bollywood movie. She wonders where they are.

Maya - Yeh hama Kahan aaye hain.

Vivian - Mera ghar, bataya toh tha

Maya - This is Your house??

Vivian - Yea?? Soo?

The driver takes their luggage inside, as Maya checks out the surroundings walking inside the huge mansion.

Vivian’s Chachi (Sarla):
(smiling)
"Arre, tum log aa gaye? Achha hua, roka bas shuru hone wala hai. Par beta, yeh kaun hai?"
(She looks at Maya, waiting for an introduction.)

As they step in, two women smile big..
vivaan greets them while Maya stays behind smiling

Vivian (nervously):
"Woh Chachi.... yeh Miss Maya hain... uh, meri ...meri ....meri bossss."
(He stumbles, unsure how to explain why his boss is here.)

Maya (firmly, with a slight smile):
"Namaste aunty. Main Vivian ki... uh... haan, main uski boss hoon. Kaam ke silsile mein yahan tak aa gaye."
(She glances at Vivian, trying to stay composed.)

Sarla (raising an eyebrow):
"Boss ho??? Ohhh Mujhe laga Vivian ne aaj kuch surprise Dena hai
(She gives a puzzled look.)
"Waise toh welcome beta, accha laga tumse milkar.

Vivian - Actually Boss ko Udaipur mein kuch kaam tha, toh maine socha...Main invite karlun. Hamare sath ruk sakti hain, hotel kya karna tha...

Maya just nods

Vivian’s Grandmother (Dadi, chuckling):
"Accha kiya Beta....waise Aajkal ke bachon ka toh kya kehna. Kabhi bhi surprise kar dete hain. Achha, beta Maya, tum kya kaam karti ho?"

Maya (smiling politely):
"Aunty...main ek business run karti hoon, fashion magazine, jahan Vivian photographer hai.

Dadi (with a sly smile):
"Hmm, toh boss ho ya kuch aur? Tum dono ke beech....matlab ?"

Vivian (quickly, trying to change the subject):
" Dadiiii, Bass Boss hai meri and Baaki sab Kahan hai? Mom and dad Kahan par hain?

Vivian's Grandmother
- Sab Teri behen ke hone wale Ghar mein Gaye hai ....bass aate honge. Tum log fresh ho jaao.

Sarla (still skeptical but letting it go):
"Maya main tumhara room ready karwa deti hun, mujhe pata hota toh ham pehle se tayyar rakhte. But Aaj Vivian ne yeh sudden surprise de dia.
(She smiles at Maya, clearly not convinced by her son)

Maya (leaning towards Vivian, whispering):
"Yeh kya situation hai? Tumne pehle nahi bataya tha ke tumhari family itni rich aur traditional hai. And what is this Huge mansion, kisi palace se kam nai..... tum ek Royal family se hokar Bombay mein photographer ki job kyun kar rahe ho.

Vivian (whispering back, frustrated):
"Yeh sab baate ham baad mein bhi kar sakte hain...plus I thought this was a professional setting. I had no clue you would be coming to meet my family. Pata nai aur kitna naatak karwaogi.

Maya (sarcastically):
"Haan, professional.
(She rolls her eyes but then catches Sarla staring at them and quickly smiles.)

Sarla calls up her servants to clean up the room and make it ready for Maya. Maya smiles at them as she leaves for the room followed by Vivian...whose room is adjacent to her.

Sarla (from a distance, to Dadi):
"Mujhe lagta hai kuch toh hai in dono ke beech. Kaam toh bass bahana hai, kuch alag connection lagta hai. Vivian hamse kuch chupa Raha hai.

Dadi (nodding knowingly):
"Bilkul, kuch toh baat hai. Yeh sirf boss waali kahani nahi lagti. Mujhe lagta hai Photography toh bass bahana hai, asli baat toh yeh ladki thi. Vivian iske pyar mein hai."
