AUTHOR POV

Hrida was buzzing with excitement as she twirled around in her room, practicing her dance moves for the upcoming annual function at school. She had been eagerly waiting for this day for months, as it was her chance to showcase her talent and passion for dancing in front of a large audience.

As the day of the annual function arrived, Hrida could hardly contain her excitement. She arrived at the school with her parents, who were beaming with pride at the sight of their daughter's enthusiasm and determination. Avyansh was already there, his face lit up with anticipation as he waited for Hrida to join him on stage.

The moment finally arrived, and Hrida and Avyansh took their places on the stage, the spotlight shining down on them as the music began to play. They moved perfect , their bodies flowing gracefully to the rhythm of the music, their smiles lighting up the room.

As they danced, Hrida could feel the energy and excitement in the air, the cheers and applause of the audience fueling her passion and drive.

After the dance was over, Hrida and Avyansh took a bow, their hearts pounding with pride. They embraced each other, their faces beaming with joy and satisfaction at a job well done.

As they made their way offstage, Hrida's parents enveloped her in a tight hug, tears of pride and joy glistening in their eyes. "You were amazing, Hrida," her mother whispered, her voice choked with emotion. "We're so proud of you."

Avyansh's parents were equally effusive in their praises, their faces alight with pride and admiration. "You two were absolutely fantastic," his father exclaimed, clapping him on the back. "I couldn't be prouder of my son."

After 8 months

Avyansh sat on the swing in the park, his head bowed with sad expression. Hrida, approached him and could immediately sense his frustration. She sat beside him and gently asked, "Ansh, why are you so sad? Did Uncle scold you again?"

Avyansh shook his head, a small smile appearing on his face at the mention of Uncle scolding him. "No, Hrida, it's not that. We're shifting to Delhi," he replied softly. "Dad's main office is there, and I have to change schools."

Hrida's eyes widened in surprise and then filled with sadness. Avyansh and Hrida were in the same class in fifth grade, and they had been inseparable since they met. They had spent hours playing in the park, sharing secrets, and laughing together. The thought of being separated from her best friend was heartbreaking for both of them.

Hrida reached out and placed a comforting hand on Avyansh's shoulder. "Oh, Ansh, I'm going to miss you so much," she said, her voice filled with emotion. "But don't worry, we can still keep in touch. You can come to my house anytime you want."

Avyansh smiled gratefully at Hrida's offer.

The two of them sat in silence for a while, lost in their own thoughts, until Hrida spoke up again.

"When are you leaving?" she asked, her eyes searching for Avyansh's face for an answer.

Avyansh sighed and looked away. "We're leaving in a month," he replied quietly. "I don't know how I'm going to say goodbye to everyone."

Hrida nodded in understanding. She knew how hard it was to leave behind everything familiar and start fresh in a new place. She squeezed Avyansh's hand reassuringly and said, "It's going to be tough, but I know you'll do great. And remember, I'll always be here for you, no matter where you are."
