The Death

All the Clans were shoved into a bunker four months after landing on Earth. A wave of radiation labeled 'Praimfaya' was on its way.

And my girlfriend was instantly put in charge as she won the conclave.

I had to say goodbye to Raven as she went to space with Bellamy, Clarke, Monty Green, Harper McIntyre, Emori and Echo.

Everything was going okay...until it wasn't.

Turns out, the hydro farm stopped producing protein and we had to resort to another method.

Humans.

I was against the idea, but Octavia convinced me it was the only way. She convicted the others by breaking their will.

We argued that night.

Things only got worse from that point. Octavia wasn't herself anymore and I broke up with her.

I moved into Niylah's room for my remaining days in the bunker.

When the following day rolled around and it was time to eat, I refused.

Octavia glared at me and told me to comply, but I stood my ground.

I wasn't scared of her.

But I should've been.

I was thrown into the fighting pits the following night and before the fight started, I was locked in one of the holding cells overnight.

Octavia begged me to fight and just follow her rules, but I told her I wasn't going to fight.

And I didn't.

I was standing in the arena, staring up at the woman I still love.

No, I was staring at Blodreina.

"I love you." I mouthed the words as her eyes begged me to fight. To win.

A shiny sword appeared in front of me with blood coating the blade.

It then occurred to me that it was mine.

I looked down and realized the sword was through my chest.

The Grounder behind me stabbed his sword through my back.

I began to cough as blood seeped from my lips.

My eyes traveled back up as shock covered Octavia's face. Silent tears rolled down her cheeks before her eyes instantly turned dark. Rage was the only emotion on her face as her eyes traveled to the Grounder behind me.

My eyes traveled around the arena and I saw the faces of my friends.

"Indra, Gaia, Miller, Jackson, Abby, Kane...all of them, tears rolled down their cheeks and their jaws were dropped.

"May we meet again." I whispered as I collapsed to the ground and darkness clouded my vision.

It was like I was passing out.

Only this time I wouldn't wake up.
