After a full day of classes, Roy walks around his college campus. Stopping by the cafeteria, he purchases a strawberry daiquiri Sobe and continues his stroll to the library. He notices his friends sitting in the corner of the library at their usual spot. Walking in their direction he starts waving at them, giving one of his big grins.
"Sup bros and chickadees..." Roy greets and sits onto a wooden chair.
"Hey." Jayah lifts her chin in acknowledgement.
"Sup Harris." Nate smiles.
"Sup wody." Harrington responds.
"What's up Harris?" Polo greets.
"Hey Roy." Becky finishes.
"What you guys up to?" Roy asks, leaning forward on the table.
"Nothing really, trying to figure out what to do. Are you done with classes?" asks Nate.
"Yeah, I'm done."
"Oh, can we go to B. dubs today? I'm tryna get some wings yo." asks Jayah with a hopeful expression.
"Man, I don't feel like spending money..." Roy groans and leans back in the chair.
"Come on Roy, at least its Tuesday, fifty cent wing night." Jayah reminds him.
"Don't give a damn. I'm a broke college student, I ain't got no funds for chicken, no matter how good and delicious it is." Roy replies with a nod.
"Harris come on; we are all going." Nate begs, hands clasped together.
"You guys have yet to spark my interest in this adventure to b-dubs..."
"We'll buy you a palmer before we go..." Harrington offers and crosses his arms.
Roy looks at them, raising his right eye brow, contemplating on his friend's idea.
"One Palmer and a Golden Bear and it's a deal."
"Alright, that's fine because I ain't gone lie, I want a Golden Bear too." Nate slaps the table with a smile.
"Bro, I do too!" Harrington replies.
"You guys have problems..." Jayah says with a shake of her head.
Later, Roy went along with Jayah, Polo, Becky, Nate, and Harrington to Buffalo Wild Wings. They ate, enjoyed clowning around and eventually everyone left. Roy walks outside with his friends. They all wave and everyone heads to their cars.
"Ah man, I ate too much! Damn you Terakyi wings and cheese sticks. Ugh!" rubbing his full stomach, Roy let out a loud belch.
He starts walking to his car and pulls his keys off his clip on his belt. He gets to his car but hears a noise across the parking lot. Pausing, he turns.
"Get back here!" A man screams.
Roy sees that two men are chasing a young girl. One of the men grabs her shirt, ripping it down the back but she moves forward, continuing to run.
"Ah, damn me and my hero mentality!" Roy growls as he runs after them, hoping to catch up.
The girl runs into an alley way, trying to give the men the slip, but soon realizes that she traps herself.
"There is nowhere to escape to, we have you now, mutt!" One of the men lurch. The young girl starts growling at the two men.
"You're coming with us; you're going to tell us where we can find..." Before finishing his sentence, he's knocked to the ground.
