The alarm clock beeped and beeped hours later. Two slowly began to wake up, and so did the sleepy child. They quickly turned off the alarm clock so as to not scare Shuttle, but Shuttle was still a little startled.

Shuttle slowly sat up as his thumb was still in his mouth, Two held onto him so he didn't fall. Shuttle looked around as he remembered about what he had dreamed about and giggled when he remembered about it, making their parent feel almost gleeful remembering their new child again. The radio was still on, soft soothing tunes were playing at a low volume.

Shuttle looked around the room, then up back at their parent, catching a glimpse of the new array of scattered bite-marks on their arms and feeling a little bad for biting them. Two appeared to be a little concerned, but was overall not that mad considering how new to the world Shuttle was.

"Oh Shuttles, ya silly goose!!" They playfully squished Shuttle's cheeks as they reassured him. "I'm sure you didn't do it on purpose!.. (I should probably find a way to help you fix that...)"

Two stood up with Shuttle in their embrace, before setting them down to look for some plasters for the bite marks on their arms. Shuttle looked up at the top of a drawer, where an unfamiliar looking object was. She looked and thought about how she could get a closer look and remembered about her dream and thought about her being on her own two legs.

Shuttle remembered about her time back in the treehouse and always wondered about how Four and X could stand up on their own, she even tried it herself a few times, but she never got the hang of it and gave up, however this time she felt like trying again after all these years.

She knelt for a second, then used the knob of the drawer to help herself up and before she knew it, she was on her own two legs. Shuttle accidentally pulled the drawer open when she stood up and saw what was inside. A couple books that seemed to be a little dusty.

Two seemed to be putting the plasters on their arms, and they eventually finished, putting the box back in the cabinet. Shuttle eventually found a way to close the cabinet and was now just staring at the "unfamiliar object" on the cupboard while stood on his own. Two turned around with the silly mismatched plasters on their arms and saw their child standing up on their own, which made them start giggling because of how proud they was of him being able to stand on his own without their help.

"AAH!! Oh my god!! I'm so proud of you!! Just.. Just look at you go!!" Two cheered on as they walked closer to Shuttle to hug him, however when Shuttle tried to walk up to them, he tumbled over his own foot right into their arms.

Two tried very hard to filter out their excitement when they spoke, they were hugging Shuttle tightly in their joyousness."Oop!! I gotcha bud.. You have no idea how proud I am of you Shuttles."

Shuttle looked at Two's arms again and seemed curious towards the plasters on them. Two smiled and nodded. "You bit me in your sleep... A lot.. and silly old me doesn't really know how to sort that out... Hopefully I'll be fine!!..."

They got up and picked Shuttle again to hold him in their arms and look around the room again, almost talking to themselves as they scavenged the room for anything that could help them.

"Now how do I... fix that little problem of yours... Wait.."

Two paused and set Shuttle down.

"I just had a thought... I'm gonna go run over.. out the hotel room.. Just to get something, just.. uhh.. you stay there alright?"

Before Shuttle could utter a single "wuh", they had already left him alone in the room. He felt like a part of him was ripped out as he crawled towards the door and attempted to open it.

"mm..? :(" Shuttle uttered, he felt like he was left behind. Although it had only been five seconds, he still missed Two dearly and thinking about them being gone reminded him of the treehouse.

Shuttle grabbed his gecko plush, Squishy, and crawled under his bed. He couldn't bear thinking about them being gone and that he broke down in tears, sobbing quietly under the bed. It only took about a minute for Shuttle to start overthinking about Two, wondering if they truly left him behind. It was only to get something... right?

The tears in Shuttle's eyes pretty much covered them, they felt so lonely like they'd been taken away from their comfort and they felt like they would never see their parent again. It all kept coming back to him as they sobbed, clinging onto their only best friend for comfort as Squishy's weight was enough to calm Shuttle down a little.

At least it was long enough until the door opened again, with Two looking around the room while talking to themself, slightly panicked.

"W-Where did you go? Oh my god no. Shuttles?!"

Two put the bag down and began looking around, but was met with nothing. As they sat down on the bed, something tugged at their leg which made them jump, only for them to realise it's the child they were looking for, in a more upset manner.

Two got off the bed and knelt on the floor beside it, opening their arms to welcome Shuttle into another hug, but Shuttle just wiped his tears and moved on, crawling out from under the bed with his stuffed companion.

Two quickly made a move to stop Shuttle from moving on that fast. "Hey... No no no!! What happened? What made you so upset?"

Shuttle sat by them and kept his head low, still very much clinging onto his plush almost in tears. He started growing closer to Two and even hugged their hand as if they didn't want to let go of them ever. Two noticed this and as they tried to comfort him, they realised that the reason Shuttle got upset was because they were gone. Even if they weren't gone for more than 5 minutes, 5 minutes was long enough for Shuttle to feel completely detached from the world that Two themself showed him to.

And less than 5 minutes it took for Shuttle to start crying again, however last time would be the last time Shuttle would cry about his fear of abandonment all in his treehouse by himself. This time, is the first time they'd be crying with someone by their side.

"... I feel so sorry for you. I completely forgot. I forgot about the reason I even adopted you in the first place and... I can't believe I left you behind like that. And you're a kid too! I wasn't even SUPPOSED to leave you alone as well!! What was I thinking?" Two's spiralling was cut short by Shuttle's "wuh" as he place his hand on their arm in an attempt to try and tell them that it's okay.

Two hugged Shuttle, the duo both calming down a little. "... I guess.. I did kinda get out of control. I'm just.. mad at myself for leaving little old you alone like that!! I should have known better. If anything, I'm sorry."

As Two went quiet, one of the plasters on their arms fell off. So Shuttle picked up the plaster and put it back on Two's arm, which made their sadness fade into almost wholesomeness.

"Do you feel okay now, Shuttles..?" Two asked, rubbing Shuttle's head very carefully as she nodded in response. "If anything I need to show you what I got for you. Just give me a second"
