Willy felt a sudden pressure beneath him, no longer feeling the chocolate around his ears, he opened his eyes to realize that the river was being drained; he coughed a couple of times to get rid of the chocolate he had inhaled

In one of his hands Wonka felt a strong grip, to which he dragged him towards him since it was Noodle, already unconscious

That was very overwhelming, considering Willy had already accepted the fact that he was going to die, although now all he thought about was trying to wake the girl

"Is everything okay there?" Someone spoke from above the glass, catching the young man's attention

Wonka looked up, discovering that it was Lofty "You saved me!" he exclaimed

"Gentlemen help each other" he said before leaving

A strong current began to form because of the drainage, little by little lowering the level of the chocolate, Wonka held onto Noodle tightly as they were both dragged by the river

The chocolate began to swirl and decrease, its current becoming calmer and calmer, which allowed the young man to swim with a little more control, already being able to see the long platform, so he headed towards it

Wonka rested one of his hands on the edge of the platform, taking a short breath, still stunned by everything that was happening; with his little strength he dragged the girl towards the surface

"Noodle... please, resist" he gasped when he saw that she wasn't moving, and didn't seem to be breathing

His hands trembled as he climbed onto the platform, crawling with difficulty toward Noodle, not knowing what to do

Wonka looked around, desperate, he sat the girl down to pat her on the back, splashing some of the chocolate that had soaked the girl's clothes

He had told her that everything would be fine, and even though he knew that could be a lie, he had promised her

An annoying chill invaded him when he saw that the girl had a small spasm, spitting out all the chocolate that had almost reached her lungs

"Noodle, c'mon you can do it" he said softly, giving another couple of pats on her back

Once she started coughing, he rubbed her back, letting out a long sigh of relief, pulling her into his arms

Noodle's breathing appeared suddenly and quickly, she opened her eyes slightly, disoriented

"Hey, sweetie" Willy murmured, giving her a kiss on the forehead

"Dad..." she managed to say "How...?"

"The little orange man saved us" Wonka said "C'mon, we have to get out of here..." he helped her stand up, dripping more chocolate

For a moment, Noodle stumbled, so Willy had to catch her before she slipped

"Do you want to rest a little?" he asked

"No... the rest will wonder where we are" Noodle muttered

"Okay, let's go"

The police car stopped in front of the cathedral, where the three men were waiting. One of the officers opened the car door, allowing the police chief to get out

"Fellas!" the chief exclaimed "I'm glad you're okay, I came as fast as I could" he said, getting out of the car

"There's no problem anymore, chief, everything is under control" Mr. Slugworth said "Some thieves broke in but they had an accident"

"In which they died" Mr. Prodnose added

The three men laughed amusingly

"...Huh, I don't think so"

The three of them turned to look at the entrance of the church, seeing that Willy and Noodle were walking outside, the girl being the one who had the book in her hands

"Mr. Wonka?" Mr. Slugworth exclaimed, without being able to believe it

"Officer, could you check it?" Willy asked, as Noodle handed the book to the officer standing by the church door

"There are all the illegal payments that the Chocolate Cartel made" she said

"Don't listen to her, that's not true" the chief of police spoke

"Of course not" Mr. Slugworth giggled nervously

"It's true" the officer said "It's completely true" he looked at a couple of pages of the ledger

"Oh, that sounds like something I should figure out" the police chief said as he went to take the ledger, but the officer did not give it to him

"Your name is here, sir, so I can't" the officer spoke

The three men, seeing themselves cornered, began to run away from the church, but were stopped by other officers, who took them to the patrol cars

Wonka approached the frozen fountain, turning to look at the girl "Now, Noodle!" he exclaimed

She hit a metal pipe, whose vibration was heard by the group, who were lying next to the chocolate pumps, on the underground floor

They activated the pumps, causing the ground under the cathedral to shake, taking everyone present by surprise

The frozen fountain seemed to almost explode when it began to expel all the chocolate that was previously in the chamber

"Ladies and gentlemen! Willy Wonka and friends invite you to try our chocolate" the young man exclaimed with a smile

The chocolatier's friends came out from a sewer, watching in wonder as people came to try the chocolate from the fountain

Noodle ran to where Willy was, giving him a big hug, he giggled

"Finally all the bad things end..." Wonka said softly, hugging her too
