Oak's POV

"That's a great idea!" Tabby exclaimed jumping up and down.

"Or an incredibly stupid one," I stepped in to be the voice of reason. "Let's face it, none of us know how to fight! Let alone track down a killing psycho pathetic clown!"

"Pretty please Oak!" Tabby kneeled on the ground and started to beg.

"Look Tabitha, Quinn, I don't think this is the best idea." I tried to explain. I didn't think it was a good idea, and I knew it was going to go badly. There was nothing worse then false hope.

"Fine," Tabby stood up, turned away and crossed her arms. "I'm just not going to talk to you until you agree to join."

"Bi-polar much." Quinn whispered under her breath.

Crap! Tabby is gonna flip!

"What did you say?" She slowly turned toward Quinn.

"Nothing,"

"No you definitely said something!" She darted angrily towards her. "Unlike your family, I'm perfectly sane!"

At this point Tabby was fully in Quinn's face as she was backed up against the kitchen counter.

"Wow," there was a voice in the kitchen doorway. We all turned to find Katie, the Mad Hatter's daughter. "My fan fiction is finally coming true, granted you've only been here a day but it's still a pretty good one."

"Katie!" Quinn quickly moved away from Tabby to her.

"What?"

"It's the middle of the night, don't you have school in," she looked at the clock. "Holy shit! It's 4:30 in the morning, go back to bed!"

"I could say the same for you three," she grumbled.

"What was that?"

"Oh nothing," she giggled. "By the way," Katie light expression faded away into a serious one. "You know my father, the Mad Hatter and the Joker would occasionally team up, so they knew where each other's main hide outs were. My father has a rabbit hole next to Gotham Bay, it leads all the way to Central City. I would start checking there for clues on the murder, or you can use it for base of operation if you wish."

"Katie," Quinn looked at her with a sad expression.

Katie's expression quickly changed back into a bubbly one. "Bringing back the Sirens is a good idea, I'll be able to feel better that someone besides the Bat will be on the streets protecting us." She cocked her head to the side, "Good night!" Then Katie skipped off.

Tabby and Quinn stood to together, "so?" Tabby asked. "Are you in?" Quinn hoped.

I sighed, "I'm in."

They both ran up to hug me, "Yay!!!"

I pushed them off, "Okay, since it's like 4:30 in the morning, let's go to bed. It's been a long day."

Quinn smiled, "Follow me."

Quinn lead Tabby and I out of the kitchen, and through a hall way. There were pictures hung up along the wall. They are pictures of the entire villain community, before they died. The rest consisted of what I assumed was the other kids inside the house. They all looked happy. After that long hallway, we went up a set stairs. We pasted a lot of rooms before stopping at a small closet. Quinn opened the door, to reveal the small room.

"Uh, looks cozy." Tabby tried commenting her room.

She laughed, "This isn't my room," Quinn reached up, grabbed a strap, and yanked it down. It then revealed a small set of stairs that led to the attic. We followed her up the steps, to come to a series of beds.

We walked past about 20 beds, ten on each side, to a door at the end of the beds. "This is my room." She opened the door to reveal her room.

It was probably a little bigger than the average space each member of the house got. It had a twin bed, bathroom and small closet. "You guys can stay in my room, more often then not one of the kids gets scared and winds up staying with me for a week, but their all past that age."

"Thanks," I smiled at her.

"No problem. You better get some sleep," she went into a closet to pull out clothes. "Starting tomorrow, we have official Siren business to take care of." Quinn got undressed and took out a sleeping bag.

"Agreed." Tabby flopped down on Quinn's bed and instantly fell asleep.
