Partners in What?!?

Morning Person

Quinn's POV

"Beep! Beep! Beep! Beep! Beep! Be-!" I quickly shut off the alarm. It read 6:00 am. "I am not a morning person and I'm not in the mood to deal with all these kids shit today." I quietly removed myself from my bed, careful not to wake up Tabitha and Oak.

I quickly completed going to the bathroom, brushing my teeth and hair, getting dressed, and putting my makeup up on. For my job I needed it, and if I didn't put it on now, the boss would throw a fit. I left a note in my closet door saying to just get some sleep, for now, and I'll be back by 5:45 for dinner. For now they could just sleep and eat. There was food in the fridge and all that junk.

I climbed down the steps and into the elementary kids room to wake them up for school. Gotham High School at 7:00, Gotham Elementary School started at 7:30, Gotham Middle School at 8:00. They all let out around 2:00-3:00pm. It was nice I really didn't need to be home until around 7:00, that gave me at least gave me 10 hrs of work.

"Yo," I picked up the frying pan and a small drumstick in the corner of one of the rooms, and banged them together. "Wake up! You've got 30 mins to get ready! And 15 mins to eat and get your crap together, I'm leaving with or without all of you by 7:45!"

All of the small children groaned, "Get you asses in gear now!!" I yelled as the all got up to do their morning routines.

I went down stairs to go get breakfast, but all that I really wanted was coffee. It was around 7:30 when a small heard of children came down stairs.

"Quinn, who were those people here last night?" Angie, the Penguin's daughter asked.

"They were obviously robbers. But Quinn was too awesome and defeated them!" Travis, the Clock King's son, boosted.

"Actually, the two girls were Tabitha and Oak. Tabby's mother was Catwoman, and Oak's mom was Poison Ivy. They'll be living with us for a while." I explained to the small children.

"Okie dokie!" Angie smiled a crooked one, and waddled off to go get her favorite cereal, Aqua-Oats.

"Ten minutes!" I called before running upstairs to get the middle schoolers up. I told the high schoolers, (which consisted of Katie, Max (Killer Frost-Louise Lincoln's son), Crystal (Killer Frost- Caitlin Snow's daughter), Victoria (Killer Croc's daughter), and Carl (Hugo Strange's son). Katie, Max, and Carl were all sophomores,  Crystal and Victoria were freshman) that if they wanted to get to school on time they'd better find a way to wake the hell up or they're walking to school. I am not driving them to school at 6:00 in the morning because they decided to be in clubs. I finally reached one of the middle school rooms, I opened the door and turned the light on full blast.

I grab the drum I kept by the door way and started to bang it. "Wake up! When I come back you're going to school one way or another, got it?!"

The middle schoolers groaned as they all rolled out of bed.

I went back down stairs and out my little herd of kids in my car and drove them all to school. "Katie's gonna be home, ok? She'll be in charge until I get back I have to work late tonight."

The children vigorously nodded their heads. "Have a good day at school guys, you can tell me about it tonight. Bye!"

"Bye Quinn!" The all said in unison. I drove off after they all went in the school. I did the same with the middle schoolers, and then decided to go to work.

My work wasn't exact idle, but it got me lots of money. I was a hostess. I worked from 8:30-5:30, every other day. I made around 1,000 an hour per night. This job was the only reason I'm able to take everyone to school, pay for two cars and two motorcycles, the big house, taxes, water, heat, electricity, everyone's clothes, toilet trees. After all that I barely make enough to get by, but I was lucky enough to have Alix help out once a month.
