The deafening chatters of all the people on the stadium echoed through the thick walls concealing the dressing room and the entire area. It was nerve wrecking that all of those faint voices simmered Becky's nervousness. She wasn't ready for this no matter how hard she spent on her trainings. She wasn't use on being the center of attention of all the students in this university. Yet, the encouragement from her friends and peers engraved over the depths of uncertainties she felt. It helped wash over them when she was on the verge of stepping down announcing that she won't be joining the pageant anymore.
On the other hand lies Freen, her hand cannot stop from clamming like she has been holding waters the entire time. There was a feeling of unease she can't seem to shake, it was palpable. Like something bad is gonna happen.
"Freen can you stop pacing back and forth? Nothing's gonna happen okay, Becky will be fine." Nam retorted grabbing freen to sit on the side to suppress her paranoid acts.
" I don't know Nam I feel like something is wrong, like there's this voice saying that I should Becky out of that stage before it's too late." Freen replied, her hans caresses the hairs on her nape before palming her face trying to calm down.
Nam sighed. " She's gonna be okay Freen, and besides we are all here we will watch over Becky, we will look after her." Nam assured tapping Freen's shoulders.
Freen let loose for the mean time, this is her wife's spotlight and she can't do someth that will dull her night. She should be the first supporter of her wife yet she is here paranoid about the possibilities that's not even gonna happen. She then sat outside the dressing room, waiting for her wife to get out and reveal herself. To slowly unfold those curtains covering who was inside and highlight her wife in the show.
Everyone was jealous, even Becky's peers. They were jealous because of Freen's unwavering support for her wife, from being there on her everyday practice, to staying up late at night to be with her wife and to all other sacrifices she made that only Becky made her do. Everyone envied them, and Freen's heart swell in anticipation.
And it's the right time, the blind of the dressing room opens revealing her wife. Her eyeshadows are back implying a gothic aura that suits her really well, her dress is black that highlights the porcelain skin she posses, her lips quiver. Quirks into a beaming smile the moment she notice Freen was captivated by her beauty.
"Hi." Becky shyly greeted approaching her wife that is seated in the stool next to her vanity.
Freen smiled. Becky's scent lingered through her nostrils that invaded her air passage by entering. " Hey there vampire." She replied rubbing circles on her wife's arm. " Are you ready?" Becky nodded.
"I am. I don't want my training days go to waste by messing this up." She retort back and this time it was Freen's time to scowl. "What's wrong? Why do you seem much more nervous than I do?" Becky inquired noticing her wife's sudden soar demeanor.
"I don't now i'm so nervous without any reason. But don't pay much attention on it maybe I was only nervous because it's your first time being in a pageant." She replied. She planted a soft kiss on Becky's knuckles, her eyes boring on Becky's brown orbs that sparkles the moment they meet Freen's. " Where your ring?" Becky look at her fingers, Freen's hand were tracing the empty space where the metal chain use to lie. Now it was gone.
"It's here." She replied raising her right hand showing Freen the ring that is settled in between the spaces of her middle and ring finger. " I would never dare remove it. This is my lucky charm." Becky smiled deeply, her dimples showing on the side of her cheeks before she planted a soft kiss on Freen's cheek down to her neck peppering kisses all over her body.
