Two.

INVISIBLE TO ME

"Marleigh, i know you're in here." Thomas banged on her bedroom door, waking her up.

When she got home last night, he wasn't in her house so she locked all the doors and windows and made sure everything was off before locking herself away in her bedroom hoping that he wouldn't find a way in.

She wanted to get rid of Thomas but she didn't know how to without getting arrested and she didn't want to tell anyone about it because then she would have to explain who he was and why he's doing all of this which would then turn into more questions and she's have to relive her past by telling everyone her whole life story.

Not even Maya knew about the things that Thomas is doing. Yes, Maya knows who Thomas is because he is a friend of their dads but she didn't know how evil both him and their dad are and part of Marleigh didn't want to tell Maya because she would go into overprotective sister mode and not let Marleigh out of her sight.

"You never listen do you? Not to me. Not to your dad. Not to anyone. We're only trying to help you and you're not letting us." He raged through the barricaded door.

Marleigh lifted her knees up to her chest and buried her face in them as she tried not to cry. She couldn't do this again, having to lie to everyone she loved because she was scared that they would turn on her once they found out what is happening to her.

Her past is too traumatic for her so what would everyone else do when they found out? Would they leave her? Resent her? Kick her out of station 19?

She has so many questions but no answers. Marleigh was brought out of her trance when she heard a giant thud from outside her room which sounded like her door being kicked in.

Marleigh jumped out of her bed and rushed around her room to collect her things for work as quietly as she would. She walked over to her window, looking for a way out.

"I'm gonna break this door down if you don't open it right now!" Thomas screamed followed by another bang.

She opened her window as wide as she could before throwing her bag out and climbed on the ledge and looking for the safest landing.

There is a deck at the back of her garden with a hanging chair and a some more furniture. The only things closer to her house is a pool and a trampoline with no netting that she got when she first moved into the house so she could still practice trampolining.

Marleigh looked back at her door and noticed it started to come off its hinges and she didn't have long until he came barging in so she decided to just jump.

She jumped out of her window and landed on her trampoline but when she bounced back up off it she went too far and landed in her pool instead of her trampoline again. Luckily her phone was in her bag.

Marleigh climbed out of her pool and picked up her bag before running around the side of her house and to her car, not caring that her seat was going to get wet and climbed in before driving off as fast as she could.

Once Marleigh pulled up to the station, she got out of her car and made her way to reception where she tried to avoid anyone seeing her on her way to the locker room.
