Xiaolumi: Back In Time With You

Prologue

Within all of the places in Liyue, there was one that holds as a dimension between the undergrounds and the overgrounds: The Chasm. A place where the overgrounds are preserved with exquisite treasures and artifacts that belong to the past Adeptus from long ago, and the undergrounds with the slimes of the miasthma and portals to unknown areas.

The Traveller: Lumine along with her companion Paimon have traveled to every nation in the world of Teyvat; befriending comrades and eliminating evil for the sake of the citizens of the nations.But there were a few things the Traveller herself has yet to accomplish such as reuniting with her twin brother: Aether who turned into the cold-hearted leader of the Abyss Order. Or to find that person who's the most sincere to her, willing to go through life and death with her and the love she'll embrace with.

The meaning of love, she can never find between all of the mens in Teyvat she's met so far, there were some she thought but did not and some who had only thought to be the same like everyone else.Until there was one among them she could never forget, the one that only fate knows the bond between the two as the Traveller and the Vigilant Yaksha.

This first tale took place during Lumine and Paimon's arrival to Wangshu Inn, during the time of their encounters with the three Adeptus–informing them of Rex Lapis's sudden assassination. Cloud Retainer gives them the 'Sigil of Permission' to have an audience with the Vigilant Yaksha: Xiao, in order to warn him of this matter.

The two approached Wangshu Inn's balcony, the breeze swirling peacefully about them as if dancing in the air. In their presence were two six-foot-tall tree pots, one on the right edge and the other on the left. A little fish bowl resembling a lotus pond stood besides the tree pot on the right, while a piece of mountain rock stood besides the tree pot on the left.

Paimon began scanning her surroundings while shielding her eyes from the sun's rays, she directed her gaze at Lumine with her hands on her hips "he's not here!" said Paimon.

Lumine paused to consider. "That's strange", she thought; "I could tell he was here." She recalled that the Wangshu Inn's Adeptus had never abandoned his position without a compelling reason. Verr Goldet claims that he can always be seen at the top of Wangshu Inn, where the roof meets the side tree or the balcony, but as of right now, not a single shadow of him has moved.

The two took a few steps forward, keeping their eyes open in case he arrived. Their search was interrupted when their gaze was drawn to the magnificent scenery in front of them; down below, they could see the massive river flowing at the command of the wind, as well as the cliff of Wuwang Hill from a distance of miles.

All of a sudden, a voice occurred from the side "to the blind, everything may not be as it appears"

The two turned their gaze to find a strange man standing by their opposite side. The man's hair was dark with a strip dyed in blue, a black dot stuck on his forehead, his right arm covered with tattoos that resembled a symbol of a curse and his expression was aloof. This man was the Vigilant Yaksha and the Conquer of Demons: Xiao.

Lumine's lips widened as the breeze gently swept through both of her stray hairs from her shoulder. Between the moments, she couldn't help but look at him, her heart pounding rapidly. In Paimon's rays, all she could see was his cold stare and heartless personality, but in Lumines' eyes, she had never seen somebody with such brilliant features that her heart began to blossom.
