Part:-26 Preparation for vaction

The dining room at Kapoor mansion was filled with the clinking of cutlery and the sound of animated conversation as everyone enjoyed their dinner. Devika's voice cut through the chatter, her eyes sparkling with mischief as she addressed the three couples seated around the table.

"Aap teeno couples kahi ghum k kyu nai ate," she suggested with a mischievous grin, prompting nods of agreement from Veena and Yashi.

"Haa maaji sahi keh Rahi hai," Veena chimed in, her eyes twinkling with excitement.

"Bilkul, humein bhi lagta hai ki aap teeno ko ek dusre k saath waqt guzarna chahiye," Yashi added, her smile widening as she glanced at the couples.

Yug nodded enthusiastically, echoing their sentiments. "Haa, aur Rahi baat kaam ki toh yaha Anuj bhai, Kush bhai aur hum hai," he pointed out, gesturing towards himself and his brothers.

Ayaan interjected, trying to offer a different perspective, "lekin chachu..."

But his words were cut off by Tanveer, who leaned forward eagerly, "Aare, sahi toh keh rahe hai! Chalte haina humko kitna time hogaya vacation mein gay hua."

Kabir, who had been listening quietly, shook his head in disbelief at the lively exchange.

Kabir cleared his throat, attempting to interject, "Chachu, lekin abhi abhi toh Anaya bhabhi, Kavya, aur Tashi ki tabiyat sahi hui hai aur..."

But he was cut off once again, this time by Tashi, who fixed him with pleading puppy eyes and said, "Aare bhaiya, pls chalte haina, hum sab bore ho rahe hai."

Ayaan, concerned for their well-being, started, "Lekin Tashi, bache aap logo ki tabiyat..."

His words were promptly cut off by Anaya, who waved off his concerns, "Aare, kya tabiyat tabiyat laga Rakhi hai aap dono ne, hum teeno bilkul sahi hai."

Kavya chimed in with agreement, "Haa, agar aap dono ko nai Jana toh na sahi, hum, Anaya, Tashi, aur humare chote dever yani ki Tanveer jaate hai."

Tanveer, ever cheerful, added, "Haa bhabhi, yeh bhi sahi hai. Waise bhi yeh dono bore akdu insaan jaa k karenge kya."

The family erupted into laughter, and Kabir and Ayaan exchanged glances, both silently agreeing to the inevitable. Tanveer's comment earned him glares from both, and he gulped nervously under their combined scrutiny.

As the sun dipped below the horizon, casting a warm glow across the room, Anaya, Tashi, and Kavya bustled around their shared living space, their laughter filling the air like music. Clothes were strewn across the bed, and suitcases lay open, eagerly awaiting their contents.

Anaya, with her infectious smile, folded a colorful sundress neatly, her mind already envisioning the tropical paradise they were soon to explore. Tashi, with her meticulous nature, meticulously arranged toiletries in a row, ensuring nothing was forgotten. Kavya, the adventurous spirit of the trio, tossed swimsuits and sunscreen into her bag, her excitement palpable.

Meanwhile, in the adjoining room, Ayaan, Tanveer, and Kabir exchanged proud glances, watching their wives with affectionate amusement. Ayaan leaned against the doorframe, a soft smile playing on his lips as he admired Anaya's enthusiasm. Tanveer sat on the edge of the bed, admiring Tashi's organizational skills with a twinkle in his eye. Kabir, with a grin as wide as the horizon they were about to chase, chuckled at Kavya's boundless energy.

In that moment, as the anticipation of the upcoming vacation filled the air, there was an undeniable sense of joy and contentment. For these three couples, the promise of adventure, laughter, and love awaited just beyond the horizon, and they couldn't wait to embark on this journey together.
