IV. whatever she wants

Verona fluttered her eyes open walking up next to Walker's side, the boy's arms were gently wrapped around Verona's waist gently enough for her to sneak off the bed and into her bathroom where she got ready for the day

The two kids were finally going on the Barnes and Nobles trip that Walker had promised the girl so she was very excited for the day she already knew exactly what kinds of books she wants to get

After brushing her teeth and getting read for the day Verona walked out of the bathroom to find Walker propped up on the bed scrolling on his phone

"Why didn't you wake me up?" he groaned when he finally noticed the girl

"Cause you were knocked out like a Victorian child that got the plague" she grinned remembering his position he was earlier

Walker glared at her "Wanna see a pic?" she took her phone out from her pocket opening the photos app revealing a picture of the boy with both of his hands crossed across his chest

"Not funny" glaring he got up from the bed leaving her to go to the bathroom while the brunette went downstairs to make herself and the boy breakfast

"Good morning Vera" Celestia groggily greeted her sister as she spread jelly on her toast

"Hi, where's mom and dad?"

"They went out with their friends or something like that so i'm in charge of you and Walk" she grinned at the younger girl

"What's cooking good looking?" the blonde boy descended down from the bathroom

"Ew Walker" the older sister fake gagged

"Now you're not getting anything" Verona put the extra slice of toast back into its bag

"Wait wait no i was joking please i'm hungry" he defensively put his hands in-front of his body running to grab the piece of bread

After the three ate their breakfasts they all went upstairs to get ready Walker was in the bathroom changing while Verona was sitting in front of her vanity doing her makeup

"Wait Vee..." the boy slowly walked out "Is that my missing hoodie you have on..?"

The girl slowly panned her head down"Uhm i don't think so" she innocently smiled as she went back to applying her blush

"Uhm yeah i think it is—you thief! I was looking for that everywhere" the boy groaned

"You want it back whiner?"

"No no you keep it" he waved his hands in reassurance

The girl nodded her head with a little smile as she turned around to finish doing her makeup before her older sister could come up and to yell at the two to hurry up

Just as Verona was putting all of her makeup supplies back into its original spots Celestia came into the room yelling "Okay guys i don't have all day hurry—" she cut herself off noticing that the two kids were already ready

"Oh...let's go now"

Verona sat in the backseat with Walker so he wasn't lonely and just as the younger girl was about to connect her phone to the bluetooth Celestia beat her to it by blasting her playlist

The younger girl defeatedly sighed as she went back on her phone to look at her 'to read' list to see what book she's gonna make Walker buy her, the blonde boy was secretly glancing at her phone to check what she was doing

"Look this book was so good you should read it Walk" the girl shoved the phone in-front of his face making Walker chuckle "Okay okay i'll check it out when we get there Vee"
