VI. milkshakes

                                  REAL LIFE

VERONA had been in her room since she woke up only leaving to freshen up and to eat her breakfast other than that she was watching Netflix and reading her book in the comfort of her blanket

Some parts of her hated not having anything to do while the other parts loved the little comfort she would get when it's only her in the room snuggled all up in her blanket

After being in her room for almost 3 hours her mom came in concerned for her daughter, "Verona don't you think you should go outside or go do something?"

The girl looked up from her book and paused her show "What do you mean? I'm having fun" she smiled at her mom

"I know honey, but you've been in your room all day.  Why don't you ask someone to hang out? Or make you sister take you somewhere?" Her mom sat on the edge of the bed folding up a fallen blanket

"Hm okay i'll ask Celestia" Verona got up from her bed walking over to her sister's room

"Tia let's go somewhere" her older sister closed her laptop shutting off whatever she was doing "Okay where?"

"Anywhere i don't really care mom's making me go out because i've been in my room all day" Celestia chuckled as she watched her younger sister leave the room

After the two sisters got dressed they hopped into the car on their way to get milkshakes and then go for a stroll at the beach which was their favorite things to do together. This time Verona got ahold of the bluetooth and she could now blast Ariana's new album 'eternal sunshine' which has been hyper fixated on since it came out

It took the whole album to finish plus an extra two songs from Laufey  for them to finally make it to the milkshake place, Verona did not know it was this far from their house but she was relieved that they were here and she could finally get her hands on the chocolate milkshake

Celestia ordered the two their shakes as Verona went off to find some seats for them, it was quite packed figuring it was the weekend and everyone was out but the girl managed to find the perfect seats for the two and just in time her older sister followed behind with the shakes in hand

"So what's up with you?" Celestia placed the chocolate shake in front of her sister "What do you mean Tia?" she asked scrunching her eyebrows

"Well you usually bed rot when you're stressed or something's going on or because of school" The girl went on and on hinting her concern for her sister but in reality Verona was just bored and had nothing to do so what better thing to do then read your favorite book and watch a show

"I was just bored nothing else" she shrugged as she took a sip from her shake "Ohh okay i thought it was because Walker's leaving and you two are inseparable" Celestia shook her head laughing

"Ugh don't remind me" Verona groaned covering her face with her hands "It's okay at least you have tomorrow to spend with him" her older sister tried to lighten up her mood which partially worked because they were both done with their shakes and they could now go to the beach
