~ Chapter 2 ~

The silence surrounding the crew sat in an ever growing bubble of dense shock and suspense. No one could fathom the news, it was too hard to digest for anyone including the swordsman in question. However, after a few still moments, the bubble popped and unanimous deep breaths were taken before the shouts of shock were released.

Straw Hats: "WHAT??"

You looked over to see Luffy laughing, the majority of the crew's jaws were still dropped practically to the floor including a skeleton fellow you weren't sure was real or not. As for Sanji, taking the news to the core of his soul, he dropped to his knees going through five stages of grief.

Sanji: "HUSBAND??" Sanji screamed, crumbling further into the floor trying to figure out how the marimo had a wife before him.

Zoro: "I am not your husband lady, I don't even know who you are." Zoro stated, you turned your head back to him, hurt evident on your face. You let go of the swordsman and made your way to your backpack, opening it and pulling out a document. You made your way back to Zoro and lifted the paper in front of him.

Y/N: "You are too, this is our marriage certificate you signed a few years ago. See?" Zoro suspiciously eyed you before hesitantly taking the document from you. He read over it, seeing the signatures at the bottom and recognizing his own. He sighed, looking back up at you with doubt etched on his face.

Zoro: "How do I know you didn't forge this?" Zoro questioned, you scoffed and laughed out loud at the accusation as you crossed your arms over your chest.

Y/N: "Do you really think I would go through all this effort for one man just to forge this?" You questioned back. As he was about to defend his point, Nami had heard enough and decided to take matter into her own hands.

Nami: "Hi I'm Nami, would you mind if I take a look at this? I'm pretty sure I can authenticate this." Nami offered, you smile and nodded as you took the document from Zoro and handed it to her. A quiet thank you from Nami was the last thing heard for a few minutes as she examined the document, looking over for any forgeries.

Nami: "This...this is real Zoro." Nami sighed as she confirmed, you smiled as you looked back at Zoro who was looking at Nami concerned before taking the document back from her to look over it more.

Usopp: "Oi Zoro, how do you not know your own wife? Did you get lost and forget?" Usopp jokingly laughed out, the others now gathered around Zoro to look at the marriage certificate.

Robin: "I can even see this has a stamp from Shimotsuki vialled at the top." Robin added, curiosity built in her by what the story could be behind you two.

Franky: "Bro congratulations, that's SUPER cool! The first one of us to get hitched." Franky said, his hand landed on Zoro's shoulder and gave a friendly squeeze as the others now started to congratulate as well seeing the blush bloom on the swordsman's face. The crew decided to start introducing themselves one by one.

You smiled at them all and attentively listened to each of the members, content that Zoro had made great friends. However nothing had prepared you for Luffy's interesting personality as you noticed at the corner of your eye, the hole in the floor was sill open but now occupied Luffy's head stretching out into the hole. You turned to gape at him, the crew turned to look at the captain but were unphased by his actions turning back to you.

Luffy: "Wow this feels weird hahah, did you leave any food behind in here, Y/N?" Luffy's voice echoed through the hole, Nami rolled her eyes and walked up to Luffy to pull his neck and get his head out of the hole. Nami gave a stern 'behave' look at Luffy but he just shrugged and laughed.

Y/N: "Oops, forgot about that. I should really lose that now." You made your way over to the hole, reaching your hand out and a small white light came out of your palm. The hole had started to shrink out of existence, the crew in awe as they watched you close the hole and the floor of their ship returned to normal. Zoro would never admit that he was impressed.
