Unknown To Me

Chapter Six

While we engaged in a lovely conversation and I felt so comfortable around him.

His hand started rubbing on my leg, it must have been because my leg kept shaking, it's something I barely take note of but he does.

My heart felt warmer as he just allowed me to ramble on and on about school. He seemed interested in listening to whatever I was speaking about.

Janet popped out of nowhere, "Hey girl, come dance with me." She says and Seth lifts his hand from my leg. Can you believe that I missed his touch almost instantly.

We headed to the dance floor and started dancing. Some random guy was bothering us and he just wouldn't stop. Is it not logical when someone says stop you automatically do it, well clearly this guy did not take a hint.

He grabbed my ass as well as Janet's and she lost it. This man was just about her height since she was wearing heels. And she swang her right hand into his face, in a split second her elbow knocked him as well making him stumble backwards.

Blood dripped down his mouth, Janet seriously packs a punch, just then Dawson appeared behind the asshole and had him in a head lock. He turns the guy to Seth and Jay... I never even noticed them there. Seth punches him in the gut and he falls forward.  Seth says something to the guy in his ear and he becomes extremely scared. As Seth backs away, Jay punches the guy and he falls forward. I'm pretty sure Jay knocked him the fuck out. TKO, they left the guy unconscious and Seth wraps a protective arm around me, he guides us out of the club and to the car.

We sit in silence and I begin to shake, what a time to have a panic attack, Janet brings me into a hug but my breathing doesn't return to normal.

We rode to my place. I heard them talking about me. I'm barely registering as the tears begin to pool at my eyes.

"She has panic attacks, it happens sometimes but rarely this bad." Jay says and takes his jacket off trying to  wrap it around me, I fight him as he comes closer and Janet takes it from him and places it around me.

"This is the worse I've seen her." Then Seth begins to talk and I listen to his voice.

"Did something happen for her to have panic attacks?" He voices and Janet and Jay share a look.

"We don't know, one summer we came back and Tate barely came out with us. When we confronted her about it she had a panic attack in the girls bathroom, we didn't know what to do so we called a teacher. After that  she spoke to us about it but never told us why or what happened." Janet finishes and her grip tightens.

"Jay and I did research afterwards and helped her cope." Not even Kyle knew about her panic attacks and they were together for three years, Janet thought to herself. "When Jay and I started pushing her for answers she would shut us out and wouldn't leave her house." Her voice held alot of concern for her friend. She hated that she couldn't do more.

They arrived at Tate's house, she passed out in the car.

I suddenly felt someone lift me out the car, but I'm to exhausted to fight it and just wrap my arms around them.

"Just head inside her parents aren't home , you are welcome to stay as well." Janet offers and I hear the guys mumbling. I finally feel calm.

Seth is carrying me into my house, his arms are so secure around me. He holds me closer.

"Just place her on the coach." Jay's voice comes out tired. I immediately start panicking once I feel his grip loosen.

"Bambina what's wrong?" I shake my head at that and grip him tighter. I didn't want him to leave just yet.

"Okay, I'll stay with you, is it alright if I stay with you?" I nod my head and he gets comfortable on the sofa.

He adjusts us and I am now sitting on his lap. See in any normal situation this would not have happened, but I believe we can all say that I don't consider myself normal any day of the week.

"She seems to have calmed down." I hear Dawson whisper.

"How about we get some beer and watch a movie?" Janet suggests and everyone agrees.

I never noticed I fell asleep until I felt something laughing under me.

I inhaled and it smells like Seth, I immediately sit straight up and scrabble off his lap.

Everyone looks at me. Jay laughs out loud and so does Dawson.

"Girl you got up so fast, do you have whip lash." I smile at Dawson.

"I'm pretty sure that's the fastest I've seen her move in her entire life."

"Yeah yeah stop teasing me I was just surprised is all. What we watching?" I take a seat next to Seth and I can feel his eyes trailing all over me.

"Some space movie I think with aliens not sure." Janet takes a sip of her beer that seems like she took from my fridge, she is so buying me more.

"Okay Seth and Dawson are you staying the night it's pretty late out." Concern laces my voice and Seth and Dawson looks at each other. That moment of telepathically having a conversation with someone close to you.

"I don't see why that's a problem." Seth finally answered and I smiled.

"Great, I'll make us some popcorn and get some snacks." I head to the kitchen and Jay joins me.

"You like Seth." He says and points at me.
"Shhhhhhh could you say it any louder." I whisper yell at him. This is why his a complete idiot.

"Oh my, you got it bad for him, I give the stamp of approval." I look at this person who I call a friend...and punch him.

"Oh bitch, alright I'll stop teasing, you can't deny it anyway. You want to fuck him." And I lunged at him and he dodges me. He laughs at me and runs around the counter.

"Shut up and help me with the snacks." I demand him.

"Yeah alright, any other day you would never give them your snacks." I stick my tongue out at him and place the popcorn in the popcorn boxes I bought online.

"His different alright plus I don't even know if he likes me?" I say and grab the popcorn and walk back to them.

"You will never know if you try." Jay whispers and walks past me with the snacks.
