The door flew open in front of us, our faces in straight horror. All that was heard was a maniac laughter coming from the woman above, Randa. "Oh, dear Swiss, running will only make me even MORE worked up!" Randa spoke in a hasty tone as she practically jumped down the stairs. To her surprise, we weren't in front of her. While she tried to figure out where we were, I was running with the others.
It didn't help that it started to heavily rain, thunder clashing against each other loudly. Randa was one of Swiss' ex girlfriends, the only one that ended up in jail for feral crimes. "Sodo, my darling, are you okay?"
I turned around and found Swiss' voice as I slowed down to a stop. "Yeah, I'm alright, but there's something I wish to talk to you about..once we get to a safe space at least," I sighed, not wanting to but I knew I had to, for my safety. I saw Swiss fall silent, making me decide to continue running. We managed to get to a nearby police station.
Luckily, the policemen let us stay for the time being. However, our clothes were drenched in rainwater, making us shiver in coldness. As Swiss sat down next to me, I could see his sense of worry on his face, I feel bad now, but I know it's for the best, for now. Cirius was talking to the policeman in the front, explaining everything about Randa.
Fortunately, the police station was somewhat empty at this time of night, considering the fact that there's a heavy storm, only misfortunate people who had been caught in the storm may wound up here. Cirius sat down next to Swiss, her face in her hands. It was no joke how tiring and frustrating the situation was.
Rain and Aether were quietly arguing. "It was your fault for letting him in the first place!" was what I could hear from the distance. If you think about it, it was as if one was blaming another for causing this, but truthfully, it was Swiss and me. If we didn't run to them, they would've never gotten involved in this mishap.
After a while of long silence combined with Rain and Aether's quiet fit, the storm started to calm, the weather now just a sprinkle. Nonetheless, the safe weather alone didn't make the situation suddenly safer. Randa was still on the loose, and who knows what her next plan may be. All we know is that, it will involve Swiss no matter what.
The policeman offered us a ride home, which was nice of him. We got in the car and I told the policeman the designated address, my house. I sat in between Swiss and Cirius, while Rain and Aether had to stay back at the station until their fit calmed. It was the most awkward ride of my life, with nobody talking, more accurately, nobody willing to talk.
Once we arrived at my house, I entered it with Swiss and Cirius following me. As I closed the door behind me, I turned to Swiss. Cirius, however, made herself comfortable and laid on my sofa. "Listen, I have something to tell you, Swiss," I started, my voice laced with nervousness.
"What is it, my love?" Swiss replied. I could see the look of worry on his face, but encouraged myself to spit it out. "We...we should break up," I spat, my words stinging me myself. Swiss looked at me as if trying to ask if I was joking. "My love, why do you want to break up?"
"I just, I can't deal with this right now. As much as I love you, Swiss, I can't put myself on the line for drama that never included me in the first place."
I knew it was selfish, considering if I truly loved him, I would stick by his side and fight Randa, but, I'm a..coward. Randa was an all-time criminal and I'm just a normal person in a band, what could I do? And worst of all, I had left Swiss to fight his problems on his own, problems that were worse than all of mines combined.
"You're right, we should..split. Do you think we could..get back together once Randa is gone?" Swiss asked, his voice like a soothing river laced with hope.
"Maybe, but I can't guarantee it."
...
Is this the end? Probably is unless I get more ideas on how to continue this. One last thing, thank you for your patience. This series has been one of my most successful ones so far, and it would help if you checked out my other series and/or recommend me some ideas to help me decide whether to continue this, or make this the end. Again, thank you all for tuning in and reading this with content. I hope you all farewell, and see you again, maybe, or on my other series.
