Tokka Oneshots!

I want to see you

(Disclaimer, I only read a few of the comics, I have not watched all of Legend of Korra only like the first two episodes. Honestly this isn't relevant because this happens like mid book 2)

Sokka and Toph stayed out late and cooked marshmallows over the campfire while chatting in a friendly way. "Man these are sooo good!" Sokka kicked back with a smile on his face as he took a bite out of his golden marshmallow. Sokka looked over at Toph and his smile turned to disgust. "Ew how do you like them that burnt?" He said in ick as she starred at the fully black marshmallow on the end of her stick. "Oh jee I guess I didn't pay attention before it got burnt!!" She said sarcastically and then he remembered she was blind. "Sorry." He said akwardly but then spoke up once more. "You know I never really got a explanation on how you see, I mean I know but at the same time I don't get it" He said as he never really got a detailed explanation on how she could see even though she was blind. Toph just stayed silent for a bit and then spoke. "Well first of all.. the badger moles taught me, obviously. I learned from them to feel the earth and sense even the smallest vibrations. So after a while I was able to pick up that skill from the badgermoles and see. I basically get a outline of everyone" She tried her best to explain to him. He nodded and felt more admiration for her, learning that from badgermoles? She really was the best earth bender. "So are like your other senses heightened, like can you hear better?" He asked in all seriousness but received a punch in the arm. "Ow!! I was serious!" "Well maybe I wouldn't have punched you if it wasn't a dumb question!!!" Toph said roughly. Sokka just shook his head, but he continued questioning her. "So you just see a outline of people? Like can you see their features?" She shrugged. "I guess? I don't really know, I haven't actually seen anyone before to give a opinion." She sat back placing her hands on the log. "Well touch my face" he said mindlessly not knowing how weird it sounded. Her face became lightly red at the offer. "What?" Was all she could say. "Like touch my face then you'll have a opinion right?" He grinned trying to better understand her perspective. She stood still for a bit but got closer. Her hand raised to his face and she placed it against his cheek. His skin was soft but rough at the same time. Her hand raised and felt his head, she then glided her fingers on the bridge of his nose. She let out a little snort and couldn't help but laugh. "Man meathead your face is weird." She insulted. "Hey I'm letting you feel my face!! You should be thankful I didn't make you pay!" He huffed. "Pay? For this? I'd rather pay not to feel it" she laughed at him again and he just sighed. Her hands went over his eyes and across to the corner of his lips. Was it ok to touch his lips? She did it anyways, her fingers brushed against his lips and she blushed a bit. She got flustered and pulled her hand back in, Sokka just looked at her and raised a eyebrow. "So what do you think?" He asked, she shook her head a bit. "Yea I guess I can feel your features through vibrations but still a bit blurry" She shrugged a bit, she could see his features almost clearly from sitting so close to him. She noticed as his hand started to inch towards hers on the log, she pretended not to notice but then he suddenly leaned in and kissed her. Her eyes widened and she jolted up but didn't push him off. She let him kiss her for a bit before he backed away. She shook her head a bit, was he just plain stupid? "What was that meathead??" Toph raised her voice as her face got red. "Well maybe I thought kissing you, would let you see better. Like how when I put my boomerang in a tree I can hear things better" Sokka explained. Was he trying to flirt or was he just really really STUPID. Toph frowned a bit at him. "It doesn't work like that! It's through my feet!" She hit him up side the head and he groveled. "That hurt!" Toph got silent for a bit as she covered her mouth with her hand. She resisted the urge to throw a huge boulder at him right then and there but she couldn't move. Sokka just looked at her and let out a small laugh. "What's funny?" She lifted her fist to ready a punch. "Nothing! Nothing!" He flinched slightly. "But how is it only in your feet? Like can't you feel with your hands or something?" He babbled on and Toph couldn't take the noise anymore and went for another kiss. He was surprised by this but closed his eyes and leaned in. Toph backed away and pressed her head to his chest as he wrapped his arms around her. "Your really annoying." She said in a low voice. "Real nice coming from the runaway." He joked and she got off and punched him again, he laughed a bit. "Ow ow ok I'll stop!" She then grinned "Yeah that's what I thought." She let out a small chuckle as well. "I'm going to bed, night snoozles." Toph turned around and her face went pink as she walked a bit and lifted up earth to make a tent and shut the opening. Sokka just smiled and waved goodbye as his face went slightly pink aswell.
