Time- 1:35 pm
Starlight and Trixie approaches the front doors of the Starstruck Arcade. The arcade hasn't been around for too long, but the two ponies have heard great things about it already. When Starlight opens the door with her magic, neon lights flash in her and Trixie's face.
"I knew it was going to be bright, but this is way brighter than I expected." Trixie says, her eyes starting to burn from the powerful lights.
"I hope its less strong inside... somehow." Starlight says.
They both walk inside the arcade. Starlight closes the door behind her as they look around the arcade, surprised by the size of the place.
"This is more like a maze than an arcade." Starlight says.
"One of us is definitely getting lost in this place." Trixie says as she starts to wander around, Starlight following her as she does so.
Trixie pauses for a moment and smirks.
"I have an idea."
"What is it?" Starlight is expecting a competition, knowing how competitive Trixie is.
"How about we have a competition? Whoever gets the most tickets in an hour wins."
Starlight is unsurprisingly right. She smiles at Trixie's predictability.
"Sure."
"Okay, we start in three... two... one!" Trixie sets off a smoke bomb, running towards the direction of the arcade games.
Starlight teleports there before Trixie, smirking. She starts playing one of the games. Trixie tries to keep up with Starlight, but isn't at the arcade games yet. She eventually catches up, just to immediately fall behind again when Starlight gets her first few tickets. When Trixie finishes her game, she moves to a different one while Starlight is too. They crash into each other, Starlight ending up on top of Trixie. Trixie blushes as Starlight teleports off of her, holding out a hoof to help Trixie up. Starlight tries to hide her also blushing face as she helps up Trixie.
"Sorry!" Starlight quickly says before teleporting to the bathroom. Starlight tries to calm down quickly.
"Sweet Celestia..." she whispers to herself. She looks in the mirror, seeing her bright red face.
"What is happening to me..!?"
"I cant possibly..." She looks in the mirror again, uneasy and doubtful. She takes a deep breath and teleports to another game, trying to get back into the lead.
When Trixie sees Starlight, she debates talking to her or not. She wants to ask where she was, but hesitates.
'She probably was just using the bathroom, right? Its nothing...' Trixie thinks. She continues getting tickets, brushing it off.
After lots of teleporting, running, winning, losing, and tickets, their time is up. They both meet up and count their tickets. Trixie ends up winning the competition. They both buy prizes and leave the arcade, their eyes finally able to take a break from the bright lights. The mares ignore what happened earlier and don't being it up. They begin walking to their next location; the mall.
