A Startrix Sleepover (Starlight x Trixie)

Sunrise Mall

Time- 2:30 pm

Note: The Sunrise Mall is based off of a real mall called the same thing. And sorry if there are a lot of mistakes, I finished this late at night.

Starlight and Trixie arrive at the Sunrise Mall. The Sunrise Mall had been open for a long time and is the biggest mall in Ponyville. Starlight opens the mall doors with her magic and takes a step inside. Trixie follows behind her. Starlight takes in the size of the mall; it was two stories and more than 50 stores in total. Trixie takes a few steps forward, stopping to see why Starlight isn't walking with her. Trixie walks over to her, snapping Starlight back to reality.

"Sorry, Trix. It just seems like this mall gets bigger every time I come here." Starlight says.

Starlight turns around quickly, hiding her faint blush from Starlight calling her "Trix." Starlight had called her that before, but she hasn't noticed it until now.

"Its fine. Now, lets go get some new outfits that we wont wear." Trixie says.

Starlight smiles at Trixie and follows behind her as she takes the lead. They glance at all the stores, trying to decide what to do first. As they continue walking, a familiar store catches Trixie's attention. It was the store Trixie got her iconic hat and cape. Trixie stops as she sees a hat and cape on sale. The cape was grand and eye-catching. It also had Trixie's favorite colors; Purple, yellow and blue. Trixie was mesmerized by how well the colors complemented her to the intricate designs in the scattered stars on the cape. The hat was breathtaking too, matching the cape. It was perfect.

"Starlight, look!" Trixie exclaims excitedly.

Starlight stops and turns to see what Trixie is so excited about. She gasps at the sight of the matching hat and cape. She knew it matched Trixie perfectly.

"We need to get it!" Trixie says, smiling.

Trixie walks over to the store, Starlight following behind her. They stop in front of an employee, asking about the cape and hat on display.

"Is the hat and cape on display for sale?" Starlight asks.

"Yes! It's a limited edition so it will be pricey, however." The worker replied.

"How much is it exactly?"

"Sixty bits."

"Okay, thank you." Starlight tries to stay calm.

The employee walks away to help other customers.

"Sixty bits..." Starlight mutters.

"We don't have to get it, it's alright." Trixie says, a bit disappointed.

"No, we'll get it."

Starlight picks up one of the few hat and cape sets with her magic.

"Are you sure its alright?" Trixie says, following behind Starlight.

"Yes, im sure. Anything for you, Trix." Starlight reassures with a smile.

Trixie smiles back and faintly blushes. Starlight pays for the hat and cape and passes it to Trixie. Trixie smiles wider and hugs Starlight, using her magic to stop the hat and cape from falling.

"Sorry that you had to pay so much. I know you said its fine. But I will pay you back for this." Trixie says as her and Starlight walk out of the store.

They continue to walk around the mall, occasionally stopping to buy stuff. While Starlight is distracted, Trixie finds a gift for Starlight. Trixie didn't know what to get... but then it clicked. She knew the perfect thing to get. At least she thinks she does. When Trixie and Starlight are back together, Starlight notices the extra bag Trixie's carrying.

"Whats in the bag?" Starlight asks.

"You'll see." Trixie says with a smirk.

They soon leave the mall, walking to the next place. But before they went inside the Mystic Marine, -an aquarium,- Trixie passes Starlight the bag. Starlight took what was out of the bag to reveal a journal.

"I was gonna get you a book of spells. But I got you a journal instead so you can come up with your own." Trixie says nervously.

"It's perfect." Trixie says with a smile.

They hug again, then finally head into the aquarium.
