TW: struggle with eating

I finished up my scene on set, before trying to rush back to my trailer. My stomach kept making noises but I swore it was just digestion. I didn't eat for today but it wasn't loud noises. It wasn't hunger noises, even if they were somewhat often.

I wasn't hungry.

On my way back to my trailer, Scarlett tried to catch my arm. So did Hailee, my scene partner for the scene just completed. I managed to run to my trailer and look the door behind me. I barely noticed the blonde woman sitting on my bed, watching me with a worried expression. Yet she tried to keep the smile on her lips.

I must be really out of shape because I barely ran that far. I was out of breath. I tried to calm my heart rate down but it wasn't calming just yet. It didn't help when I looked to the blonde green eyed woman watching me from my bedroom section of my trailer.

"hi, my love" she said softly with a wave of her hand. Before I could return a greeting, her phone buzzed. Whatever the message was had got rid of her smile. Now she was only worried, concerned really. She looked back at me and tried to smile. "long scene?"

I nod my head and go for my watered down, mostly empty coffee. I take long sips from the straw until it was empty. Then I went to sit beside her on the couch, and leaned my head on her shoulder.

It was comfortable silence.

Until my stomach made those soft sounds again.

I sighed, closing my eyes. "What are you doing here?" I ask, before she can ask me a question.

"I wanted to come see you before I go onto set..."

"Who texted you?"

"It doesn't matter..." She says. She cups my cheeks with her hands and places a kiss on my forehead. "Are you hungry? I saw that they had you come in early today on a call sheet."

I shake my head and open my eyes. "I had breakfast already."

"Food or coffee? What was your breakfast?"

I exhale, then mumbled. "Coffee... and a Berry Blast from Dunkin because I was curious... but I am okay. I also had some chips and chocolates." She placed another kiss on my forehead before going into a paper bag she had brought with her. I didn't even notice it until now.

Elizabeth blocked my view of seeing what it was. "That's not healthy." She noted. "How many?... Chips and chocolates..."

I freeze at her question. What do I say? I never liked to lie to Elizabeth. "I don't know..." I lie. I roll my eyes and swing my legs. She didn't say anything next, so I told her. I am weak. "Two plantain chips, with some sauce, and two or three chocolates.... but not right after the other. I am not weird."

I couldn't hear any reaction from her, but I saw her shoulders drop slowly. "You are not weird." She says and turns to me. "Why didn't you eat today?" she asks bluntly.

I don't answer.

"Did someone say something to you?"

I shake my head.

"Are you sure? I won't go crazy on someone, if you say someone said something."

I sigh and looking down to the floor of my trailer. "I just don't feel hungry." I look at Elizabeth again, but she had turned away back to her bag. I could hear her hum to herself and see that she was hesitant to take something out of the bag. "I promise I'll eat, when I go home."

Elizabeth turned back to me and hands me an ensure milk. "I got this for you this morning..." She sits beside me and wraps an arm around me. "Can you just drink some of it? Just a little..."

"I am tired, Lizzie." I groan softly and cover my face as I lay back. She lays back and pulls me closer to cuddle me. "Will you tell anyone if I drink it?" I ask.

"Not specifically, no."

"They would judge me if you tell them I did..."

"They wouldn't judge you," she holds me tighter. "I won't tell them you drank this, only that you ate. If they ask." She takes a deep breath. I slowly sit up and Lizzie does the same. I lean against her body as I open the ensure and drink it. When the container is empty and I close it and wrap my arms around Lizzie. She holds me tight, while she softly cries. I can hear her sniffles and grip on my body tightens more snd more with every tear I assume streams down her cheek. She wasn't holding me too tight but just enough that was still comfortable. I loved tight hugs. They are better than the regular ones you give others casually.

I know that I hurt Lizzie when I don't eat.

Sometimes, I just can't do it.

Elizabeth takes a deep breath and runs her finger through my hair. "You're beautiful, you know that right? You don't have to be eating less to be pretty. If anyone tells you that then tell me and I will handle them." We both laugh, then she continued. "I am always here, anytime. And if I am not then you can call me, or I will come to you. Even if it's the middle of the night. Even if we finished texting for the night and said goodnight. I am always going to be here for you. Any time of day."I nod my head and close my eyes, falling asleep. Elizabeth hums a song softly to help me sleep.
