The zombie apocalypse took a few days to wipe out. After that the trio helped the town back on its feet. "So guys about that base." Victory had pulled Knight and Slushy aside.

"What about it?" Knight tilted her head to the side in confusion.

"While we were cleaning town I looked for a house to turn into our base!" Victory smiled and her yellow-orange eyes sparkled. "Follow me!" She ran ahead and they followed after her.

They later walked up to a semi-worn down brick house, the walls were covered in ivy and a few steps were broken and splintered. "It just needs some work." Victory turned to Knight and Slushy and smiled.

Ka-Shh!

Knight and Slushy's eyes dullen. Victory smiled sheepishly and turned around to see that a raccoon had broken a window trying to get out of the house.

"We can fix it up. Come on it'll be fun and we will have a little secret base!" Victory smiled and tucked her hair behind her ear.

"This will take up time an-" Knight was cut off by Slushy, "oh come on Knight it'll be fun." He grabbed her arm and walked inside. Victory followed behind them cautiously.

Inside was ripped furniture, broken table and chairs, and there were various piles of feces.

"It will take some time to clean this up." Knight clenched onto Slushy's arm and looked around. Her nose was shriveled up due to the horrifying stench. "Let's get to it!" Victory pulled out a mop, broom, and a bucket from the closet.

Hours after hour they cleaned, and cleaned, and cleaned. It seemed like days passed. Then they were done.

The ivy was taken down and all the windows were replaced. Boards were replaced, and all the raccoons were chased out.

"See it wasn't THAT BAD" Victory smiled. They looked around and flopped down onto the refurbished sofa.

"It was kinda fun." Slushy looked at Knight and smiled widely. Knight smiled back and color flushed to her cheeks. "Yea it was."

Slushy got up and nodded at the girls in dismissal, "I have to go back home, let's meet here tomorrow."

"See ya then!" Victory smiled and waved.

"Bye Slushy!" Knight shouted at him as he shut the door.

"Now what?" Victory looked at Knight.

"We could look around outside."

"Maybe a walk?"

"Don't see why not."

The two walked outside and around to the back of the house.

Br-ing Brata-ta-ta Be-ep

"What was that?!" Victory looked around with widened eyes.

"I don't know... But it doesn't sound good." Knight stood in a defensive pose.
