Day 4

"Eli. Ahh sweet Eli. Who knew you were still alive."
"What do you mean?" I was sent to some weird building, then I saw Melody with handcuffs on and sat down next to me.
"Car crash?" She asked.
"Car crash."  I answered.
Angelica walked in.
"NOT THESE BOZOS." She yelled, "I just said their names because they...they...they....their my friends."

"Friend?" Melody said.

"I'm sorry."

"You took OUR parent's and siblings lives away. How could we ever be friends?" Melody protested.

"I agree with Melody." After that, we walked out of the building when the cops came.

"Angelica. You are being taken into custody. Please come out of the building."

"I RAN THOUGH!" She shouted, not realizing we were still there.
Melody walked forward.
"You ran. After you KNEW YOU KILLED 6 plus people. You are just sick. Literally. Mentally sick. Having the courage to say that. IN FRONT OF THE COPS TOO."

I yelled, "MELODY. OUT. NOW DON'T DEAL WITH HER." I pointed to the door.

Melody started talking about how much she hated Angelica.
"Okay. If you're going to keep talking about her, I'm breaking up with you."
"Fine." She answered. Based on her tone I knew she was more than furious. I gotta say, I am too. My family dying. My uncle not telling me my family died until 7 months later, saying they were on a big cruise traveling the world. I cannot even believe I bought that.
We stood in the middle of the street, not knowing what to do.
Melody started walking.
"Where are you going?"
"Georgia. You coming?"
I had to run after her, "Why?"
She stopped and turned back at me.
"Because." She took a breath, "I don't like Kentucky. It's too much."
"What's Georgia going to do?"
"We will find out. I'm going to head back to the apartment real quick. I'll pack and get us plane tickets?"
"Sure why not. But what about school?"
"Don't worry. I already enrolled us at another school. You'll be fine."
"If you think so."
