Kept Secrets (Obi-Wan Kenobi)

Chapter 5 - Master Kenobi

After finally getting a decent night of sleep. I awoke early, sitting up in the large bed and looked around the room. I quickly got out of the bed making my was swiftly to the restroom. I could hear my ladies maid Besta come in to the room before she met me in the dressing room.

"Good morning ma'am" She greeted in a pleasant manner before helping me with my hair. I got dressed into something I could easily maneuver in before quickly eating then heading to the hanger. After entering the hanger I noticed Ashoka waiting with a blue armored clone trooper.

Once she saw me, the young Jedi ran up to me bowing before greeting me "Good morning Senator Toria. I'm here to escort you to the temple to meet Master Obi-Wan" As she spoke the clone trooper had made his way over to us "Oh this is Commander Rex of the 501st. He works under Master Skywalker and me."

The clone bowed before removing his helmet and bowing quickly "Senator" He greets before stepping aside as Ashoka and I walk towards the speeder.

"You'll be working alongside the clones to, the 501st but also the 212th they are under the command of Master Obi-Wan, but his clone commander is Cody" Ahsoka comments as Rex enters the pilots chair and takes off towards the temple.

I know being a Jedi Padawan would being me to the front lines of the war. And know this I know the two in my company have seen some horrific sites and with that My Master as well. With all this coming to light I know my senate days had to be twice as meaningful. The sympathy I had though hung heavy in the air as I watched Ahsoka and Rex joke and talk with each other bringing a small smile to my face as the speeder landed in front of the temple steps.

Ashoka and I exited the speeder as Rex got ready to head back to the clone barracks. Ashoka bid a quick farewell to him before turning back to me "Come on" Her voice cheerfully as she ran up the steps before disappearing. I quickly followed up the many white marble steps before stopping at the top taking in the white building in front of me. I slowly moved forward, eye filled with awe as the feeling of the force. It was a strange and welcoming feeling as I came to a haul in the main hall. My eyes wondered toward the domed ceiling that had beautiful depictions of the Jedis of old saving the galaxy. As I took in the painting a could feel a presence behind me.

"Good morning Toria" Obi-Wan voice came seconds later. I turned around to see him, he had his arms rested behind his back and a small smile played on his face.

"Hello" I greeted shyly before looking from him back to the hall "This is breathtaking" I commented. Obi-Wan moved closer to my side also looking across the hall.

"Yes, It been the main temple for the Jedi for centuries now. Though I envy those like yourself that get to see it for the first time" He commented before taking a step forward "Shall we then" He motioned his head for me to follow before walking down the hall. I quickly followed behind him listening carefully as he explained how the Jedi where founded and told be about all the other temples that were scattered around the galaxies on different force planets. He showed me the different training room, the archives, the different meditation gardens and the holo room. After a tour of the cafeteria I followed him to the opposite side of the temple that houses each of the different older Jedis room. I followed him down the halls til he came to a halt in front of a door "This is your quarters" He started before opening the door and stepping aside for me. I took a few steps into the room. It wasn't a large room but it was decent for its size. It had a small kitchenette with a dining table that doubles as a desk. I small bathroom that was placed just off the kitchen, a queen size bed sat opposite of the kitchen placed up against the wall with a large window placed at the back of the room.

I turned back to look at Obi-Wan who stood in the doorway "I don't want to have misplaced another Jedi from their room" I felt a sort of strange gilt of taking a Jedis home from them seeing as how I had my own residence on planet.

I watched him look towards the ground before he stepped just barely into the room "You aren't. There are plenty more in the temple. This will be helpful for you as he placed to come and rest after a long day of training or before we leave on mission" He reassured before turning on his heels and exits the room. I took an extra minute in the room before following him out "We head off to the meeting room then" He said moving down the hall heading to the elevators at the end of the hall. Stepping into the elevator with Obi-Wan my nerves heighten as I turn to look out the glass window.

"You're not in trouble Toria. The Jedi council want to speak with you" Obi-Wan reassured.

I looked at him "I know but they are the Jedi Council. It seems irrational but it's a little intimidating"

I heard him chuckle "Well I'm on the council. Am I also intimidating?"

I smiled to myself before looking back at him "Yes, now you are after that bit of information" I nervously joked back, earning a laugh from Obi-Wan. After our travels here I was excited to get to know Master Kenobi though my teaching. The elevator doors opened and we exited making our way into the council room. Obi-Wan entered first bowing to the Jedi in the room. I slowly made my way towards him also bowing to the Jedi in the room.

"Miss Neviro, welcome to Coruscant. I am Master Windu" The first man greeted before gesturing over to the small green being besides him "This is Grand Master Yoda"

"Welcome. Strong with the force, you are"Yoda spoke up looking me over as Obi-Wan moved from my side to stand in the corner "With this the Jedi will help you with. Though not a Jedi knight will you become"

I nodded at Yoda before Windu again spoke "You will become one of the force sensitive members. We know you will be part of the senate so we will do our best to help you gain control and confidence in your ability. Master Obi-Wan will be your guide in this. He is wise in the force and will be the best one to teach you balance"

"Thank you Master Jedis." I bowed at them again before moving back towards the main door to the room. Obi-Wan moved to the center of the room again also bowing before he joined me at the door.

We made our way out of the room stopping before the elevators.

"Are your ready to begin your training?" Obi-Wan questioned where the sneaky smile as he entered the elevator before me.

"Of course my Master"
