Mila pov
It's been a week since Liebe told me that her and Armand are ok now, that they have worked things out. I was a bit sceptical at first but Liebe assured me that it was ok and I decided to take her word for it because I trust her.
Training has been going good so far most of us have mastered hand to hand combat and basically all of us have figured out out elemental powers.
This morning a few of the cadets got sent back home because they lied and said that they had elemental powers but they were just normal people who wanted to help the world.
I think if someone wants to help us let them, it's their choice and they know the risks or death but they government said only elementals are allowed.
They way you can tell you have powers before you discover your element is when your around the age of 5 and 8 you'll have a time come when your eyes start glowing and the earth moves around you like a mix of all the elements surround you and it genuinely awakens when a supernatural touch's you.
I discovered I had powers at the age of 6, I was with my mother and father at the markets and
a women had brushed past me making me fall over, at the time I didn't realise but that woman was a supernatural I'm guessing a warlock or something because of it was a vampire she would have been burning.
My parents were a bit shocked at first but not surprised, my family comes from a long line of elementals so I was bound to get mine sooner or later.
Training had finished early today, so Mila went to a clearing past the brackets to give herself a little more workout for the day.
She practiced her striking on a tree, she even used her powers on it. After a while she got tired and she started to head back to the brackets, as she got to the edge of the clearing someone emerged from behind a tree to greet her.
Valter pov
I was washing up from training today when I saw Mila walk away from the brackets, I was wondering what she was doing so I followed quietly behind her.
She came to a clearing and stood in front of a tree for a moment before she started to throw punches and attack it, i get it she was practicing.
I admired her commitment to her training, she had now started to Use her powers but that ended quickly because she had gotten tired.
She started to walk towards me and I emerged from behind the tree I was leaning on.
"Hey"
"AHAH VALTER WHAT THE HELL"!!! Mild screamed startled
"Oh I'm sorry, didn't meant to startle you dear" valter said winking at her
"Tch, what's wrong with you"
"What you don't like me"
"No I don't" Mila said walking pst him
"Oh but we had fun at the wedding" valter said teasing.
"Shut up, that didn't even mean anything to you!" Mila said now she was getting angry.
"What makes you say that?" Valter asked confused a bit.
"Because after you didn't even talk to me, this is probably one of the first time you have properly talked to me since the wedding"
"Look I'm sorry I've just been drowning myself in things i didn't realise how much time had gone past" Valter said genuinely sorry
"Mmh"Mila hummed
"What, you don't believe me?"
"No, no I don't"
"Mila I care about you, it did mean something to me, it truly did" valter said grabbing Milas arm to stop her from walking
"They why did it take you so long to realise you hadn't spoken to me?"
"I genuinely didn't realise, I do it to Ada and Liebe all the time, it's not you"
"Hmm ok"
"Hey if you up for it maybe we could hang out, like go on a date or something I'll take you into town on the weekend and I'll pay"
"Maybe, are you going to pay for everything?"
"Everything"
"Ok then, it's a date....maybe " Mila said before she walked into the girls brackets.
